- NEWS - Poll Finds: Palestinian Support for October 7 attack on Israel Drops Significantly

A poll conducted in early September by the Palestinian Center for Policy Research and Analysis (PSR) found that 57% of Gaza residents thought the decision to launch an offensive in southern Israel was wrong.

For the first time since the October 7, 2023 terror attack, the PSR poll shows that the majority of sector respondents believe the decision was wrong.

Support for the attack has also dropped in the West Bank, although 64% of respondents still believe it was right. In an earlier PSR poll in June, 57% of Gaza residents thought the invasion was justified.
