🇺🇸🚀 NEW: A launch pad issue caused SpaceX to delay a flight to the International Space Station within the last hour, which was intended to replace NASA’s two astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been in orbit for nine months.

➡️ The delay was due to concerns about a critical hydraulic system that arose less than four hours before the planned liftoff of the Falcon rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Engineers were assessing the hydraulics used to release one of the two arms holding the rocket in place. This system must tilt back just before launch.

➡️ The four astronauts, already secured in their capsule, waited for a final decision, which came less than an hour before the scheduled launch. SpaceX called off the mission for the day, but did not immediately provide a new launch date. However, the next attempt could be as early as Thursday night.

🇸🇾⚡️ NEW: President Ahmed al-Sharaa has issued a decree establishing the National Security Council, which will be responsible for coordinating and managing security and political policies.

➡️ The council will be chaired by the President and will include key government officials such as the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Interior, along with the Director of General Intelligence.

➡️ In addition to these officials, five advisory members will be appointed by the President based on their expertise, as well as a specialized technical expert to handle scientific and technical matters related to the council’s work.
