Посол России в Индии Денис Алипов и Руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Индии Елена Ремизова провели переговоры с руководством бангалорского музея Читракала Паришат. Музей известен не только прекрасной коллекцией современного индийского искусства, но и большой коллекцией работ Николая Рериха. В этом году в России и Индии отмечается 90-летие со дня подписания Пакта Рериха - первого в истории международного договора о защите культурного наследия. В этой связи музеями, исследовательскими организациями и представительством Россотрудничества в Индии предусмотрено проведение ряда мероприятий. Елена Ремизова пригласила директора музея доктора Шашидвара Рао к участию в круглом столе, посвященном Пакту, который состоится в середине апреля в Санкт-Петербурге при поддержке Музея семьи Рерихов, Комитета по внешним связям и Законодательного собрания Петербурга. Также было достигнуто соглашение о съемках документального фильма о семье Рерихов в Бангалоре в рамках программы "Мудрецы Индии", которая готовится к показу на телеканале "Культура".

Russian Ambassador to India Mr Denis Alipov and Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Dr Elena Remizova held talks with the leadership of the Bangalore Museum Chitrakala Parishath. The museum is known not only for its excellent collection of contemporary Indian art, but also for its large collection of works by Nicholas Roerich. This year, Russia and India celebrate the 90th anniversary of the signing of the Roerich Pact, the first ever international treaty on the protection of cultural heritage. In this regard, museums, research organizations and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in India are planning a number of events. Dr Elena Remizova invited the director of the museum, Dr Shashidwar Rao, to participate in a round table on the Pact, which will be held in mid-April in St. Petersburg with the support of the Roerich Family Museum, the Committee on Foreign Relations and the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. An agreement was also reached to film a documentary about the Roerich family in Bengaluru as part of the program "Sages of India", which is preparing to be shown on the TV channel "Culture."

При поддержке Представительства Россотрудничества в Индии в Дели был дан старт международному научно-экспедиционному проекту "Афанасий Никитин - 550". Цель проекта - сбор научных и исторических данных о путешествии русского купца. Как известно, его путь проходил через Кавказ, Персию, Индию и Крым. В Индию Афанасий Никитин прибыл за 30 лет до Васко да Гамы и стал первым европейцем, оставившим заметки о своем пребывании на полуострове, включающие описание политической структуры, торговли, сельского хозяйства, обычаев и традиций Индии того времени. Необходимо отметить, что русский купец стал и первым путешественником, посетившим тогда Персию, где он прожил около двух лет. Все это делает дошедшие до нас заметки уникальным памятником не только русской, но и индийской и персидской культуры 15 века.
Члены экспедиции – историк, член Санкт-Петербургского отделения Русского географического общества Денис Хрусталев и руководитель общественной организации «Диалог по развитию гуманитарного сотрудничества», член Красноярского отделения Русского географического общества Илья Банников встретились с Руководителем Представительства Россотрудничества в Индии Еленой Ремизовой и с советником Посольства Ирана в Индии доктором Фаридом Асром. Стороны договорились провести совместное мероприятие по результатам экспедиции.
Также члены экспедиции встретились с активом молодежного клуба при Русском доме в Дели – рассказали много интересных фактов о жизни и путешествиях Афанасия Никитина, а также о своих научных целях. Отрадно, что молодое поколение индийцев знает о русском путешественнике, во многом благодаря ставшему классическим советско-индийскому фильму «Хождение за три моря / Пардеси».
Результаты экспедиции будут включены в новое издание «Хождения…», которое готовится к выпуску в настоящее время Институтом русской литературы (Пушкинским домом) Российской академии наук.

With the support of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in India, an international scientific and expeditionary project "Afanasy Nikitin - 550" was launched in Delhi. The goal of the project is to collect scientific and historical data on the journey of the Russian merchant. As you know, his path passed through the Caucasus, Persia, India and Crimea. Afanasy Nikitin arrived in India 30 years before Vasco da Gama and became the first European to leave notes on his stay on the peninsula, including a description of the political structure, trade, agriculture, customs and traditions of India at that time. It should be noted that the Russian merchant became the first traveler who then visited Persia, where he lived for about two years. All this makes the notes that have come down to us a unique monument not only of Russian, but also of Indian and Persian culture of the 15th century.

В каждой номинации Конкурса присваиваются первое, второе и третье места. По решению жюри могут быть определены лауреаты Гран-при Конкурса. Также определяются лауреаты Конкурса («175 лучших работ о России» и «30 лучших иностранных работ»).
Лучшие конкурсные работы демонстрируются на крупных государственных площадках, а также используются МИД, Россотрудничеством, фондом «Русский мир» в качестве инструмента народной дипломатии для продвижения культуры и традиций народов России за рубежом.
По результатам Конкурса все участники получают электронные сертификаты, наставники – электронные благодарственные письма, а победители – дипломы и памятные призы. Все победители приглашаются на торжественную церемонию награждения в Москву с участием государственных и общественных деятелей.

As part of the competition, participants choose the most interesting events, traditions, memorable places of their homeland and tell their compatriots and peers abroad about them in the format of a video or a text page - a presentation with a mandatory translation into a foreign language.
In each nomination of the Competition, first, second and third places are awarded. The jury may decide to determine the winners of the Grand Prix of the Competition. The winners of the Competition are also determined ("175 best works about Russia" and "30 best foreign works").
The best competition works are shown at major government venues, and are also used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Russkiy Mir Foundation as a tool of public diplomacy to promote the culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia abroad.
Based on the results of the Competition, all participants receive electronic certificates, mentors - electronic letters of thanks, and the winners - diplomas and memorable prizes.
