A series of thematic workshops were held at the Russian House in New Delhi as part of the Russian-Indian Youth Forum, which allowed participants to delve deeper into key areas of international youth cooperation.

On the second day of the forum, three platforms were organized for young leaders and activists, each of which became a space for productive dialogue, exchange of experience and joint search for solutions.

The first workshop was dedicated to the environmental agenda. The Indian organization “Tears of Earth” together with the Russian Humanitarian Mission held a practical training, where participants discussed the importance of environmental responsibility and joint steps to protect the environment.

The second workshop was a meeting with graduates of the internship program for foreign specialists in Russia InteRussia, implemented with the support of the Public Diplomacy Fund named after A.M. Gorchakov. Young professionals shared their personal experiences, talked about their internship in Russia and answered questions from participants.

The third platform brought together the youth of the two countries in a teleconference format: representatives of the International Friendship Club in St. Petersburg and the Youth Club at the Russian House in New Delhi "Дружба दोस्ती Club" joined the dialogue. The participants exchanged opinions, discussed new ideas for joint projects and agreed to develop further cooperation.

These workshops became an important step in strengthening youth ties between Russia and India, proving that open dialogue, joint initiatives and new communication formats can create strong bridges of friendship between countries.

On June 22, the Russian House in New Delhi hosted events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, one of the most tragic dates in the history of Russia.
The day began with the laying of a capsule containing a particle of the Eternal Flame, delivered from Russia in May of this year. The particle was given to the Russian House as part of the All-Russian action "Flame of Memory" by the activist of the "People's Front", Russian athlete Dmitry Kudryashov. The staff of the Russian House in New Delhi solemnly delivered the particle of the Eternal Flame to the India Gate, one of the key memorial sites of the country.

The event continued with the action "Candle of Memory" in the Russian House as a sign of deep respect for the feat of the participants of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), veterans of the home front, and also in memory of the millions of victims who died in concentration camps.

June 22 is the day when Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union in 1941. On the same day, Italy and Romania declared war on the USSR, and on June 25, Finland joined the attack. Formations from Spain, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Croatia, Bulgaria and other countries also fought as part of the Wehrmacht.

The All-Russian action "Candle of Memory" is a symbol of unity, deep respect for history and the desire to maintain peace and tranquility on Earth.

The two-day 53rd meeting of the World Coordinating Council (WCC) of Russian Compatriots Living Abroad was held at the Victory Museum in Moscow. Representatives of 26 countries took part in the meeting, including the President of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots (IARC) Elena Barman.

The meeting was opened by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Government Commission on Compatriots Abroad Mikhail Galuzin. In his speech, he spoke in detail about the preparation of the World Thematic Conference of Russian Compatriots, which will be held in October 2025 at the Victory Museum and will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. During the meeting, the participants discussed the implementation of international projects dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, issues of protecting historical truth, counteracting falsifications, as well as the development of patriotic education of youth, support for the Russian language and the promotion of Russian culture abroad. Special attention was paid to the results of the past regional conferences of compatriots in the countries of Asia, Europe and North America.

The meeting became an important platform for uniting the efforts of compatriots around the world in preserving historical memory and strengthening spiritual ties with the Motherland.

This day was established by the UN General Assembly in 2022 and is intended to highlight the importance of the role of women in global diplomacy and international relations.

On this day, the World Federation of Russian-Speaking Women, the LDPR Women's League and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry held a ceremonial meeting that brought together women working in various areas of international activity. Participants included diplomats, representatives of business, non-profit organizations, education and healthcare, as well as students studying in international relations programs.

The President of the World Federation of Russian-Speaking Women Elena Afanasyeva noted the importance of recognizing the role of women in diplomacy. Particular attention was paid to the need to create conditions for their professional growth and broader participation in the decision-making process. Despite the fact that women's contribution to international activities is obvious, their representation in high diplomatic positions remains insufficient. However, positive dynamics have been observed in recent years.
