The Russian House in New Delhi hosted an exhibition of Russian education, which became a bright event in the sphere of international academic cooperation. The event was attended by representatives of leading Russian universities: Mari State University, Orenburg State Medical University, Tver State Medical University, Kalmyk State University, Perm State Medical University and Pskov State University.

Indian applicants had a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the admission rules, a wide range of educational programs, opportunities for studying in Russian and English, living conditions, student life and support measures for foreign students. The guests paid special attention to medical areas, which are always in high demand. At the same time, promising programs in the field of engineering sciences and information technology were presented.

The event was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere and became an important step towards strengthening educational ties between Russia and India.

The Russian House in New Delhi together with the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots (IARC) organized a visit to the Mala Smriti orphanage located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
As part of the humanitarian action, aid was provided to the children of the orphanage: clothes, shoes, toys and sweet gifts. The initiative became part of efforts to strengthen humanitarian ties and support social institutions in the region.
The children prepared a short program for the guests: they recited poems, shared knowledge and happily took part in informal communication.

An exhibition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union has opened at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India.
The exhibition introduces visitors to a photo chronicle of the formation and development of the Eurasian Economic Union. The exposition covers key milestones in the history of the EAEU and clearly demonstrates the path the union has traveled over the years of integration and joint work.

The participants were addressed with a welcoming speech by the Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy in India Mr. Roman Babushkin, the Trade Representative of Russia in India Mr. Andrey Sobolev, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of India Dr Elena Remizova and representatives of Indian business circles.
In her speech, Dr E. Remizova emphasized the special role of humanitarian cooperation both within the EAEU and in the context of the multifaceted dialogue between Russia and India.

Particular attention was paid to programs for Indian students to obtain Russian education under the government quota, as well as the growing interest in studying the Russian language, which covers more and more regions of India every year.
Dr Elena Remizova also spoke about youth initiatives implemented by the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India. In particular, she noted the importance of short-term study tours under the New Generation program, aimed at strengthening mutual understanding between the young leaders of the two countries.

Post-program work with participants of the World Youth Festival was separately covered as an important element of sustainable humanitarian dialogue and the formation of an active international youth community.

Such initiatives not only contribute to the development of bilateral relations, but also form a solid foundation for cooperation in the future.
The gala event brought together representatives of diplomatic, business and cultural circles.

The IX World Games of Young Compatriots and SCO Countries have started in Vyborg, Leningrad Region. With the support of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of India, Indian delegate Ruben Jacob Daniel is participating in the Table Tennis discipline.
We remind you that the IX World Games are being held from June 2 to 8, 2025. Young compatriots from more than 20 countries are taking part in them, including Abkhazia, Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, Georgia, Egypt, Cyprus, India and China.
The program of sports competitions includes tournaments in basketball, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, chess and wrestling.

The Russian House in New Delhi became a platform for connecting to the teleconference "Liberation of the Kursk Region", organized at the initiative of the Permanent Mission of Russia to the OSCE in Vienna with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The main goal of the event was to convey objective information about the crimes of the Kiev Regime and to demonstrate evidence of the humanitarian catastrophe unleashed in the border regions of Russia.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to India Mr. Denis Alipov, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Dr. Elena Remizova and the Vice-Rector for Research at the Dostoevsky Russian Christian Humanitarian Academy Yana Ivaschenko addressed the audience with welcoming remarks. They emphasized the importance of promoting the Russian language as the most important instrument of international humanitarian dialogue.

The laureates of the honorary award were outstanding Indian literary figures who made a significant contribution to the dissemination of the Russian language and culture in the Republic of India:

- Dr. Madhav Kaushik — President of National Sahitya Akademi in New Delhi.
- Mr. Javed Akhtar — renowned screenwriter, poet and songwriter
- Prof. Abhay Kumar Morie — the founder Vice-Chancellor of the central University of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad.
