The Union of Russian Translators of India held a competition “My Pushkin: Translation of Poems into Hindi”. 61 young translators took part in it; the final of the competition took place on June 6 online.
The partners of the Union were the Russian Institute of Translation, the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Russian House in New Delhi and the International Award Board.

With the support of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of India, the Indian organization "Big Cat Alliance" took part in the annual Crystal Compass competition, which this year was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the Russian Geographical Society.
The Moscow International House of Music hosted the award ceremony of the XIII National Crystal Compass Award, which unites outstanding achievements in geography, ecology, nature conservation and cultural heritage. Under the motto "Planet of Heroes", the event brought together participants from Russia, India, China, Japan, Egypt, Italy and Nepal.
The award for the best social and information project was given to the "Big Cat Alliance" for its contribution to the preservation of natural and historical-cultural heritage. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vyacheslav Rozhnov, presenting the award, especially noted the merits of the head of the Alliance, Dr. Satya Prakash Yadav, in restoring the Bengal tiger population and developing global environmental cooperation. This year the award was held with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
