В рамках конкурса участники выбирают наиболее интересные события, традиции, памятные места своей Родины и рассказывают о них своим сверстникам из разных стран в формате видеороликов, текстовых страниц презентаций или рисунков.
Для участия в проекте необходимо до 25 марта 2025 года заполнить форму «для международных участников» на сайте http://www.youthy.ru/.
Обращаем внимание, что 10 победителей из числа российских соотечественников, проживающих за рубежом, будут награждены культурно-образовательными поездками по программе «Здравствуй, Россия!» в 2025 году.
За все время проведения конкурса участники прислали более 16 500 работ из 89 регионов России и 70 стран мира.

The ANO "Innovative Center for the Development and Education of Children and Youth" with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Russkiy Mir Foundation is holding the 7th International Competition "Tell the world about your Motherland".
As part of the competition, participants choose the most interesting events, traditions, and memorable places in their homeland and tell their peers from different countries about them in the form of videos, text pages of presentations, or drawings.
To participate in the project, you must fill out the form "for international participants" on the website http://www.youthy.ru/ by March 25, 2025.
Please note that 10 winners from among Russian compatriots living abroad will be awarded cultural and educational trips under the "Hello, Russia!" program in 2025.

On New Year's Eve, the smallest guests of the Russian House in New Delhi watched the cartoon "Three Bogatyrs and the Princess of Egypt." The heroes - Dobrynya, Ilya Muromets and Alyosha Popovich - won kids’ hearts with their jokes and sincerity. Parents also watched the film with pleasure, and noted not only humor, but also Russian national folklore, referring to folk tales. Students studying the Russian language were able not only to improve their language skills, but also to get acquainted with some Russian traditions.The film was provided by the Roskino.

“INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIADS OF KFU” for foreign citizens
Academic year 2024/25
Kazan (Volga region) Federal University invites foreign citizens, students of grades 10-11, to take part in the International Olympiads of KFU!
Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will receive quotas of Ministry Science and Higher Education for higher education at Kazan (Volga region) Federal University for the next academic year.
The Olympiad is held in Russian in the following disciplines: MATH, BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, RUSSIAN LANGUAGE, ENGLISH LANGUAGE, LAW AND DESIGN.
Olympiad’s participation is free of charge.
STAGES OF OLYMPIADS:
•QUALIFICATION STAGE – December 2, 2024 – January 8, 2025 online (registration on the website https://abiturient.kpfu.ru/?p_lan=1 is required).
Winners and prize-winners of the qualification stage (up to 45% of the total number of participants in each discipline) will be invited to participate in the final stage.

Dear friends, each of you has probably heard the word “idiom”. What is it? Idioms are fixed phrases, linguistic “twists”. It is impossible to learn any language perfectly without knowing them. And the Russian language is no exception. Idioms help you understand not only the Russian language and culture but also the Russian mentality. If you know these catchphrases, you can pass for a native speaker in Russia.

For example, Russians often use the expression “nakrylsia mednym tazom” (literally “got covered with a brass bowl”). When learners of Russian as a foreign language hear it for the first time, they have many questions. Why “covered”? Why “bowl”? Why is it made of brass? What is it all about? Hoooow?

“Nakrylsia mednym tazom” means that something has gone off script / has been disrupted / has broken down / has gone down the drain.

Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo in India Dr Elena Remizova and Russian Consul General in Mumbai Mr Ivan Fetisov took part in an international conference on the development of women's entrepreneurship and business skills, organized by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs with the support of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.In her speech, Dr Elena Remizova noted the need to develop cooperation between women's organizations in Russia and India. "A good example is the Eurasian Women's Forum, which is the largest authoritative platform for dialogue between women leaders from all continents and developing joint positions on topical issues," Remizova emphasized. She also held a presentation of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which annually hosts special sessions dedicated to both Russian-Indian cooperation and Women's entrepreneurship.
The conference was also attended by representatives from Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Thailand, Egypt and Maldives.

Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo in India Dr Elena Remizova and Russian Consul General in Mumbai Mr Ivan Fetisov took part in an international seminar on the strategic partnership between Russia and India, which was held at Rashtriya Raksha University. The Russian delegation also included representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Federal Customs Service and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India. In her speech, Dr Remizova noted the need to expand the teaching of the Russian language for university students, indicating that the Rossotrudnichestvo is ready to provide the necessary support in this area.
She congratulated the university students who successfully completed an internship at the Russian House this year and promised to expand the internship program for next year. Also, the presentation of free scholarship in Russia under the program of the Government of the Russian Federation was held for students.
