A group of researchers from Sechenov University has developed polymeric materials for 4D printing of spacecraft components. The polymers show excellent shape memory at transition temperatures above 150 degrees Celsius. They can be given a different shape, and then, when exposed to temperature, they return to their original geometry. It is also preserved under radiation exposure with a dose of up to 200 grams.

The Khakas have Turkic roots and were formerly called Yenisei Tatars. They call themselves "tadar".
The people of Khakassia venerate the patron spirits of domestic animals - the izikhs. The izikhs are most often horses that have become sacred. The Khakas would choose an animal of a particular suit, wash it with milk, fumigate it with thyme herb, and decorate its mane and tail with ribbons. After the ritual, the horse would be unleashed and would not be ridden until old age. The Khakas believed that the izikh received magic powers from the spirits: it could guard herds and drive away enemies. According to the legends, spirits rode on the sacred horse, pleased to receive a gift and therefore favoured the owner of the animal. According to archaeological data, transformation into izikhs is one of the most ancient cult actions in the history of Khakassia.

Most of the ritual actions are performed with the help of shamans. The Khakas have a national shrine - Borus. It is a five-headed mountain peak in the Western Sayan Mountains and the place where shamans receive their gift.
Khakas women have a national ornament - a pogo. It is a rounded bib embroidered with beads, corals and mother-of-pearl decorations. Women cover their heads with a kerchief by folding it diagonally and tying the ends at the back of the head so that it runs down the back. It is considered important to fold the kerchief so that a kuree (headband) is formed over the forehead. Often the headband is fixed with a thick paper.
Khakassian cuisine is varied and nourishing. It is based on many meals made of meat of domestic animals, dairy products, fish and forest products. The most popular dishes are the groat soup (charba ugre) and barley soup (koge ugre).

Rostec has created new technology for laser surgery
The «Shvabe» holding of the Rostec State Corporation has developed a new technique for dissecting biological tissue with laser radiation. The authors of the methodology are specialists from a leading laser center in Russia - the Research Institute «Polyus» named after M.F. Stelmakh.
The technology reduces the invasiveness of surgery on mucous tissues and reduces the healing time due to the individual selection of laser beam parameters.
The new method was tested during operations on the intestines at the Federal Medical Center of the Federal Property Management Agency.

It is also worth checking out the "cat museum" Murarium. It is located in the former water tower, which offers a panoramic view of the city. The local authorities have introduced the world's only cat chef, whose duties include feeding and caring for the city's cats.
Zelenogradsk or "city of cats" is a resort town located on the Baltic Sea coast, on the Kaliningrad Peninsula. Until the middle of the 20th century, it belonged to Germany and was called Kranz. This small town is popular with both tourists and residents of the Kaliningrad region. The population of Zelenogradsk is about 17 thousand people.
Winters here are mild, and summers are moderately warm. The water in the sea is cold. The city is famous for its long and well-appointed promenade. Here you can walk and enjoy the spectacular views of nature, training outside and ride a bike, scooter or rollerblades on the bicycle path.
Since 2010, cats have become an unofficial symbol of Zelenogradsk: sculptures, street drawings and art objects are devoted to them. You can also visit the public garden "Coffee House", where the "mustached and stripped" live in houses, styled as historical ones and equipped with heating system.
