As part of the educational project “Film Lessons from the Russian House,” organized jointly with the Center for Russian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Indian students discussed the importance of literature in the life of modern people. Using the material from the short film “The Ink Sea” (Russia, 2021), students appreciated the importance of a literary text for preserving the connection between generations and establishing mutual understanding between people.
The finalist of the “Masters of the Russian Language” competition, master’s student of the Far Eastern Federal University Ekaterina Dynyak took part in the film lesson, who told the students about the Primorsky region and one of the most beautiful cities in Russia - Vladivostok.

The Russian House in New Delhi jointly with Parichay Sahitya Parishad held a literary evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Soviet poet Ramsul Gamzatov.
Members of this Indian literary association and all poetry lovers who took part in this event performed poems by Rasul Gamzatov.
Due to the fact that the poet’s homeland is the Republic of Dagestan a region of Russia in the East Сaucasus, Parichay Sahitya Parishad prepared and showed a video “Mera Dagestan” in Hindi.

Russian rescuers have been eliminating the effects of cyclone "Daniel" in different parts of Libya around the clock for 10 days. In total, almost 2 thousand cubic meters of building structures and building debris were dismantled. 610 thousand square meters of territory, 108 km of coastline were surveyed to search for victims. The bodies of 153 victims were recovered and evacuated, 140 of them in remote areas.
Diving crews of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia from the water area of the port of Derna made 47 descents, raised 17 swimming vehicles and cars to the surface. A total of 33 thousand square meters of water area were surveyed. Doctors of the mobile field hospital "Centrospas" detachment helped more than 670 victims, including 67 children.
