Bluebells School International in New Delhi hosted an open lesson for schoolchildren studying the Russian language.
The lesson was conducted by Girish Munjal, Professor of the University of Delhi, together with specialists from the Russian House in India. The students repeated the Russian alphabet, the system of vowels and consonants, the basic rules of reading and the peculiarities of pronouncing the sounds of the Russian language, and also learned and sang a song to the words of M. Matusovsky and the music of V. Shainsky "Together it's fun to walk."
The children liked the game form of the lesson very much and aroused genuine interest among the school teachers present.
At the end of the lesson, representatives of the Russian House in New Delhi handed over textbooks and game aids in the Russian language to the school for further use in the academic process.

What do we know about Africa? Its exotic nature, ethnic and linguistic diversity, and a unique culture. However, it is also home to 35% of the world's mineral resources and holds 54 votes in the United Nations.

The Western countries have their own plans for the continent, while China is actively developing partnerships with African nations. Russia is making a comeback, as its assistance during the Soviet Union era is still remembered here.

But what do Africans think about our country and what are their expectations? These questions are answered by experts in the documentary film "Battle for Africa". Join us July 20 at the Russian House at 6:30 p.m. for screening as part of the "Documentary Film Days" project by Rossotrudnichestvo and RT Documentary.
The G-20 Building Cultural Bridges Forum was held in New Delhi ahead of the G20 summit scheduled for early September this year in the Indian capital. Its participants - ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions of the club member countries - discussed the role of national cultures in this association.
Director of the Russian House in India Oleg Osipov noted that in the club of 20 different civilizations - the English-speaking world, the Russian world, India, China, Latin America and others - the average cultural code of the so-called "golden billion" is no longer possible. Existing methods of offensive culture warfare include the destruction or discrimination of indigenous languages, the destruction of traditions and ideals that underlie the self-preservation of the social system and the transformation of the institution of family and marriage.
Similar comments were made by the representatives of India, Indonesia and South Africa.

The Russian House in Trivandrum organized competitions for schoolchildren from two schools in this south Indian state. In May, the finalists of the competitions took part in a meeting with famous people from Kerala who went to Artek as children: State MP Binoy Viswam, writer KA Bina and journalist Baiju Chandran.
Neha Anup's trip was covered by Kerala Malayalam newspapers.
Artek is an international children's center (former pioneer camp) on the Black Sea coast in the city of Gurzuf on the Crimean peninsula. Founded June 16, 1925. Foreign children and participants are accepted on a competitive basis.
Three Indian schoolchildren - Arian from Calcutta, Levon from Bangalore and Rihan from Kozhikode - arrived on a direct Aeroflot flight from New Delhi to Moscow, to then go to Altai as part of the program for children of compatriots "Hello, Russia!" The boys are accompanied by Olga Pardo, a lawyer by profession.
A rich program awaits Indians in Barnaul: visits to museums and sports facilities, acquaintance with the tourist attractions of Altai, in particular, the Tavdinsky caves. Trips are planned to the honey apiary and the cheese factory and a tour to the resort town of Belokurikha.
