❓На какие вопросы по «Северным потокам» должна ответить Германия?

💬 С.В.Лавров: Германия должна ответить на все вопросы. Они должны прекратить категорически отказываться предъявлять факты, которые они не могли не обнаружить. Когда требуемая нами хоть какая-то информация не предоставляется по официальным каналам, а всплывает в газетных материалах (причём одновременно в трёх немецких изданиях и в американском), это наводит на мысль о том, что всё инсценировано. Операция задумана для того, чтобы каким-то образом увести общественное мнение в ФРГ и в мире от истинных исполнителей, виновников и заказчиков террористического акта. Будем настаивать на проведении транспарентного международного расследования.

Позорно для Германии молча смиряться с тем, как её лишили долгосрочной основы энергетического и экономического благополучия. Долгие десятилетия это было ключом к её развитию в виде устойчивых поставок российского газа по приемлемым ценам. Берлин всё «проглотил» молча, без каких-либо комментариев.

Сейчас видим попытки свалить всё на каких-то офицеров, которые выпивали с бизнесменами и то ли наняли кого-то, то ли сами решили научиться заниматься дайвингом. Это несерьёзно. Даже если кто-то из упомянутых в германской прессе лиц (говорилось об украинцах) был каким-то образом причастен, то ясно, что в одиночку они не могли это осуществить. Для реализации такого теракта поступила команда «с самого верха». А для Запада «самый верх» – это Вашингтон.

❓После нападения на Курскую область и сообщений о том, что готовится провокация с использованием «грязной бомбы», можно ли Украину считать террористическим государством и добиваться этого статуса в международных организациях?

💬 С.В.Лавров: В международных организациях механизм принятия решений требует согласия их членов. В Совете Безопасности ООН у Запада есть право вето. Они никогда не позволят продвигать там решения, которые противоречат интересам его марионеток в Киеве.

Для нас абсолютно ясно, что это нацистский, террористический режим, изначально созданный в результате госпереворота, организованного при прямой поддержке США. Пришедшие к власти в феврале 2014 года сразу объявили войну собственным гражданам, пригрозив запретить русский язык (что в итоге и сделали), «вышвырнуть» русских из Крыма.

Последующие заявления режимов П.Порошенко и В.Зеленского, их официальных представителей – это чистая русофобия и ненависть ко всему русскому. Нет никаких сомнений, что режим преступный.

🇷🇺🇦🇿 В Баку прошли российско-азербайджанские переговоры в расширенном составе.

💬 В.В.Путин: Как вы уже отметили, у нас очень представительная делегация – и с обеих сторон. Здесь практически, почти в полном составе Правительство Российской Федерации.

Мы уже упоминали с Вами и уже вспоминали о том, что совсем недавно, десять дней назад, прошла межправкомиссия, которая констатировала развитие наших отношений – и не просто констатировала, но отметила, что мы в полном объёме выполняем наши договорённости, которые были прописаны в соответствующей декларации 2022 года, и в соответствии с договорённостями, достигнутыми в ходе Вашего визита в апреле текущего года.

🤝 Работа в таком широком составе даёт возможности наметить шаги на ближайшие перспективы, на будущее. Нам сейчас удалось, хотя называется это «в узком составе», но пройтись по целому ряду вопросов абсолютно приоритетного характера.

✍️ Нам предстоит ещё подписание соответствующих документов, а коллеги имели возможность – и вчера вечером, так же, как и мы с Вами это сделали, в неформальной обстановке, и сегодня в течение дня уже – между собой пообщаться и наметить шаги на ближайшую перспективу.

❓Обсуждалось ли вчера в ходе неформальной встречи президентов России и Азербайджана В.В.Путина и И.Г.Алиева армяно-азербайджанское урегулирование? В сегодняшней повестке дня есть эта тема?

💬 С.В.Лавров: То, что вчера обсуждалось один на один, – это дело двух президентов. В ходе пресс-конференции они, наверняка, упомянут, какие дали оценки нынешнему состоянию отношений между Баку и Ереваном.

Убеждены, что главное – следовать духу и букве серии трёхсторонних договорённостей лидеров России, Азербайджана и Армении, достигнутых в 2020-2022 годах (1, 2, 3, 4). Они охватывают все аспекты ситуации, а также вопросы, которые необходимо решить для того, чтобы её окончательно и полностью урегулировать.

Мы – за скорейшее заключение мирного договора и разблокирование коммуникаций. К сожалению, в том, что касается коммуникаций через Сюникский район Армении, именно армянское руководство саботирует договорённость, под которой стоит подпись премьер-министра Н.В.Пашиняна. Трудно понять, в чём заключается смысл такой позиции.

☝️Основа, заложенная в рамках трёхсторонних встреч и документов, в полной мере сохраняет свою актуальность.

❓Question: Did the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, discuss the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement during their yesterday’s informal meeting? Is this topic on today’s agenda?

💬 Sergey Lavrov: What the two Presidents discussed yesterday during their face-to-face meeting does not concern anyone but them. They will probably share their assessment of the current state of relations between Baku and Yerevan during their press conference.

We are certain that following the trilateral agreements as concluded by the Leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2020−2022 (1, 2, 3) in both letter and spirit is what matters the most. Their provisions cover the situation in all its aspects, as well as outstanding matters that must be resolved in order to achieve a final and exhaustive settlement.

Russia stands for concluding the peace treaty and unblocking communications as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, it is the Armenian leadership, which has been failing to abide by the provisions dealing with communications through the Syunik Province of Armenia, despite the fact that the relevant arrangements bear Nikol Pashinyan’s signature. We find it hard to understand what this position means.

☝️The trilateral meetings and documents defined a framework, and it remains relevant.

❓Как Вы оцениваете риторику и позицию Запада по поводу ситуации на наших приграничных территориях? Они отрицают, что знали об этом.

💬 С.В.Лавров: Военную обстановку оценивает руководство Министерства обороны, регулярно, по нескольку раз в день докладывает Президенту России В.В.Путину.

Что касается политической стороны, то на воре шапка давно сгорела. Эволюция от «мы здесь ни при чём», «нас никто не спрашивал» до «к нам обращались, но мы не разрешили», «Залужный ослушался» – детский лепет. Всем прекрасно понятно, что Зеленский никогда не решился бы на это (решение, безусловно, его). Сейчас он хвалится, что создаёт «буферную зону», наносит ущерб российскому государству. Он не решился бы на это, если бы США не «поручили». Также нет сомнений, что Вашингтон стоит за взрывами «Северных потоков», в результате которых Европа осталась без российского топлива и без устойчивой основы экономического развития.

Для нас картина предельно ясна. Как бы они ни изворачивались, всем объективным и непредвзятым наблюдателям правда видна и известна.

❓Западники раньше настаивали на том, что Россия якобы нарушает чью-то территориальную целостность, а теперь молчат.

💬 С.В.Лавров: Они всегда говорили неправду и путались в показаниях (так мы характеризуем подобные ситуации). Заявляли, что не разрешали украинскому руководству применять западные дальнобойные средства против международно-признанной территории Российской Федерации.

Параллельно другие официальные представители Вашингтона, Лондона и некоторых европейских столиц говорили, мол, Украина сама решает, как защищать свой суверенитет. Немцы дошли до того, что заявили: якобы когда передали оружие Украине, то это уже её оружие, а они никакого отношения к этому не имеют. Позорно.

Это в известной степени говорит о растущем отчаянии Запада, неспособности Зеленского выполнить отведённую ему миссию и о том, что украинские руководители в отчаянном положении. Им уже ищут замену. В немецких и американских СМИ Зеленского уже начинают «сливать» и создавать ему образ неудачника. Посмотрим.

We have already mentioned that just ten days ago, the intergovernmental commission held a meeting, which confirmed that our relations are progressing. Moreover, it was noted that we fully honour the provisions of the 2022 Declaration, as well as the agreements reached during your visit last April.

❓ Question: What are the questions Germany must answer regarding the Nord Stream pipelines?

💬 Sergey Lavrov: Germany must answer all the questions. They categorically refuse to share facts they have at their disposal, and must stop doing so. When they fail to provide the information we are requesting from them via official channels, while it surfaces in newspapers – with as many as three German and one US title spreading the news – this suggests that it was all a set-up. This whole operation was designed to mislead the German and international public opinion in order to shield the actual perpetrators, the culprits and those who ordered the terrorist attacks. We will insist on carrying out a transparent international investigation.

What a shame for Germany to just silently swallow the fact that it was deprived of what formed the long-term foundation for its energy security and economic prosperity. For many decades, stable supplies of Russian gas at affordable prices served as a key factor in the country’s development. But Berlin accepted the attacks without saying anything.

Today, we are witnessing attempts to shift the blame on some officers, alleging that they invited some business executives for a drink and then either hired someone, or decided to take up diving on their own. This is not serious. Even if some of those who were mentioned by the German media (it talked about Ukrainians) was involved in one way or another, it is clear that they could not do it on their own. They needed an order coming from the very top in order to carry out an attack of this kind. For the West, this means from Washington.

❓ Question: Considering the invasion of the Kursk Region and reports that there could be a provocation involving a dirty bomb, can Ukraine be viewed as a terrorist state? Can we plead with the international organisations to designate Ukraine as such?

💬 Sergey Lavrov: In international organisations, the decision-making mechanism requires approval by the member states. The West has veto power within the UN Security Council, which means that they would block any decision, which runs counter to the interests of their puppets in Kiev.

It is clear for us that this is a Nazi, terrorist regime resulting from a government coup organised with the direct support of the United States. Those who came to power in February 2014, rushed to declare war on their own citizens by threatening to ban the Russian language, which they actually did, and to throw the Russians out of Crimea.

The subsequent statements by the Poroshenko and Zelensky regimes, as well as their official representatives, were expressions of genuine Russophobia and hatred towards anything Russian. There is no doubt that this is a criminal regime.

❓ Question: What do you think about the West’s rhetoric and stance on the situation in our border regions? They are denying that they knew about it.

💬 Sergey Lavrov: The Defence Ministry leadership assesses the military situation and reports to President Vladimir Putin several times a day.

As for the political side, it’s clear that the cap fits, and they should long be wearing it. The evolution from “we have nothing to do with it” and “no one asked us” to “they did ask, but we said no,” and “Zaluzhny disobeyed” is just ridiculous. Everyone is perfectly aware that Zelensky would never have dared to do this – the decision was certainly his. Now he boasts that he is creating a buffer zone and damaging the Russian state. He would not have dared to do this unless he had orders from the United States. There is also no doubt that Washington is behind the Nord Stream explosions, which cut Europe off from Russian fuel and consequently, a stable foundation for economic growth.

For us, the picture is crystal clear. For all their dodging, the truth is obvious, and known to all objective and unbiased observers.

❓ Question: The West used to insist that Russia was violating someone’s territorial integrity, but now they have become silent.

💬 Sergey Lavrov: They have always spread lies and their messaging was mixed. This is how we usually describe these situations. They have been saying that they did not authorise the Ukrainian leadership to use Western long-range missiles against the Russian Federation within its internationally recognised borders.

At the same time, there were also officials in Washington, London and several other European capitals saying that it is up to Ukraine to decide on ways to defend its sovereignty. The Germans went as far as allege that once they deliver weapons to Ukraine, it takes ownership of these weapons, so they have nothing to do with them anymore. What a shame.

To an extent, this demonstrates the fact that the West is becoming increasingly desperate, while Zelensky fails to deliver on his mission, which, in turn, made the Ukrainian leadership desperate too. The effort to find people for replacing them is already underway. The German and US media have already started to deny their support to Zelensky by presenting him as a loser. We will see what comes next.

🇷🇺🇦🇿 From the Joint Statement of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the results of bilateral talks with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev (19 August 2024)

💬 Vladimir Putin: Russia attaches great importance to developing a comprehensive and friendly relationship with Azerbaijan. This relationship is based on the principles of equality, respect for each other's interests, and, of course, the close personal and cultural ties that have brought our nations together for centuries now.

The Joint Statement we adopted outlines ambitious goals for advancing our bilateral relations dynamically. Additionally, the documents signed today will support the achievement of these goals.

The key economic cooperation issues are constantly monitored by our colleagues on the intergovernmental commission. Its latest meeting, held in Baku ahead of our visit, was highly productive.

Cultural ties are actively expanding. In June, Azerbaijan successfully hosted Days of Russian Culture, featuring exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, and other vibrant cultural events.

We also touched upon current international developments. In foreign policy, both our countries firmly adhere to the principles of the supremacy of international law, the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.

❓Question: What types of talks are completely off the table with that regime?

💬 Sergey Lavrov: After the start of the [Ukrainian] invasion of the Kursk Region, President of Russia Vladimir Putin made it clear that any talks were out of the question. I would also like to highlight another important remark from President Putin. He said that we will certainly provide an assessment to this situation, that assessment will come at a later time.

Recently, there have been rumours about clandestine contacts, including preparations for Qatar-mediated talks on Russian and Ukrainian energy facilities. There were also claims that our Turkish neighbours were considering mediating the issue of the food security, particularly in the context of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. You can imagine the ulterior motives behind these “ideas.”

All of this stems from the Burgenstock “conference,” where it was decided to establish three working groups: one on energy, one on food (linked to maritime security), and one on humanitarian issues (prisoner exchanges, etc.). These groups have been formed, and their meetings are being prepared. However, any suggestion that Russia might be invited to participate is sheer nonsense. The Burgenstock “process” is entirely unacceptable to Russia, as its sole purpose is to advance an ultimatum disguised as the Zelensky “formula.”

❓Question: What response can be expected?

💬 Sergey Lavrov: This is a matter for the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Federation.

💬 Le 20 août 2022, la vie de la jeune et talentueuse journaliste Daria Douguina a tragiquement pris fin. Les organismes judiciaires de la Fédération de Russie ont établi que le meurtre brutal de la journaliste russe a été organisé et exécuté par les services spéciaux de l'Ukraine.

Pour liquider physiquement les représentants indésirables de la communauté des médias, le régime de Kiev, se trouvant sous la tutelle des superviseurs occidentaux, est prêt à commettre n'importe quel crime sanglant, y compris l'organisation et l'exécution d'attaques terroristes, ce qui confirme une fois de plus la nature criminelle de la dictature de Zelensky.

☝🏻Nous tenons à rappeler qu’au cours des deux dernières années, les journalistes Daria Douguina (Platonova), Oleg Klokov, Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomine), Rostislav Zhouravlev et Boris Maksoudov ont été sauvagement assassinés par le régime de Kiev.

❓ Question: Recently, the media have been airing stories by Western journalists reporting from the Kursk Region. How would you comment on their activities in Russia?

💬 Maria Zakharova: A legal assessment of the foreign reporters entering the sovereign territory of the Russian Federation in circumvention of the established procedures should be given by the competent authorities. However, I would like to remind you that criminal proceedings have been instituted against a number of such representatives from foreign media outlets for illegally crossing the state border of the Russian Federation. All such incidents are carefully recorded, and appropriate action will be taken against violators.

From the journalistic perspective, these pseudo-reporters can only be regarded as traitors to the profession who have stooped as low as direct involvement in the fabrication and dissemination of Ukrainian Nazi propaganda. The nature of the stories published following their forays, including staged videos with Bandera followers holding POWs and civilians at gunpoint and interviews with militants openly flaunting Nazi stripes, clearly indicates the true purposes of this media operation on the occupied Russian lands – to whitewash the criminal Kiev regime, conceal the crimes it commits against the civilian population, further destabilise the information landscape by manipulating public opinion, rehabilitate Nazism and create enabling climate for the West’s continued support of the terrorist Kiev clique.

☝️ It is quite telling that when such journalists are caught demonstrating Nazi symbols (which is a criminal offence even in their own countries), they scramble to remove or retouch the compromising content. For example, Ilario Piagnerelli, with the Italian state media Rai News, has expunged an interview with a neo-Nazi militant wearing an SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler cap from his social media accounts. The journalist did not even think of apologising for his actions, but simply removed the posts, as if nothing had happened. By these manipulations, he clearly showed no sign of sincere repentance for what he did.
