❓ Question: Could you comment on the US-Germany statement on their intention to start stationing US ground-based intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles in Germany in 2026?
💬 Sergey Ryabkov: This is yet another tangible proof of the extremely destabilising policy of the United States in the field of “post-INF Treaty,” as President of Russia Vladimir Putin recently stressed at the start of a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council on this pressing matter.
In particular, the President noted that, after Washington deliberately destroyed the INF Treaty, Americans clearly stated their intention to station arms earlier prohibited under the treaty, in different regions of the world. With unquestioning support of their allies, they have entered an active phase of their plans now.
As we have repeatedly warned, the actions of the US and its satellites that create additional missile threats to Russia will not go without due response on our part. This is why in the new circumstances, President Vladimir Putin openly and directly spoke about the importance of carefully reconsidering Russia’s unilateral moratorium on deploying ground-based intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles and on our potential steps.
The US-Germany statement on their intention to start stationing US ground-based intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles in Europe in the near future is a deplorable fact as it will have destructive consequences for regional security and strategic stability. But it was expected.
☝️ Competent Russian agencies started their work on developing compensatory countermeasures well in advance and continue this work systematically. Public statements on specific parameters of our country’s response to this “post-INF” escalation will follow as the leadership takes respective decisions.

🌐 We understand very well that formation of a world order that reflects the real balance of forces and the new geopolitical, economic and demographic reality is a complicated and, unfortunately, even painful process – mainly because the efforts of the BRICS members and other developing countries are facing fierce resistance from the ruling elites of the so-called “golden billion” states.
Acting contrary to historical logic and often to the detriment of the long-term interests of their own nations, they seek to cement a certain order based on their own so-called rules that nobody has ever seen, discussed or adopted. These rules are written or corrected every time anew, to suit every specific situation and in the interests of those who consider themselves exceptional and arrogated the right to dictate their will to others. This is classical colonialism at its best, a clear attempt to replace legitimate international law and monopolise the ultimate truth – and this monopoly is destructive.
The pressure on those who have their own stance is growing. Contrary to the principles of international law, they are using force and coercion, unilateral sanctions, selective application of trade rules, and blackmail.
We have seen attempts to restrict direct contacts between lawmakers, which goes against the principle of free interparliamentary cooperation and the sovereign right of official representatives of every state to protect their national interests.
That is why today the significance and relevance of collective work by people’s representatives on the constructive agenda of our association are rising dramatically.
🇷🇺 Let me remind you that the main goal of Russia’s BRICS Chairmanship this year is to create the most favourable conditions for consistent development of all its members. I am convinced that, by acting together in unity, we will be able to fulfill our countries’ potential in the economy, investment, technology, and human capital; to strengthen the positive impact of BRICS on global developments and make the world safer and more harmonious.

💬 А.И.Антонов: По сути, речь идет о планах по развертыванию Соединенными Штатами в Европе ракет средней и меньшей дальности. Это - серьезная ошибка Вашингтона. Такие крайне дестабилизирующие шаги несут прямую угрозу международной безопасности и стратегической стабильности.
• Американцы усиливают риски гонки ракетных вооружений. Здесь забывают, что завязывание узла конфронтации может стать детонатором неконтролируемой эскалации на фоне опасного обострения напряженности по линии Россия-НАТО.
• Российский Президент В.В.Путин неоднократно подчеркивал востребованность активных усилий по сокращению дефицита доверия, укреплению глобальной и региональной безопасности, а также снижению рисков, проистекающих от недопониманий и разногласий в области ракетного оружия. Решение по развертыванию с 2026 года средств поражения дальнего радиуса действия в Германии бьет наотмашь по российской приверженности мораторию на размещение наземных РСМД.
• Вместо стремления к миру, которое много раз демонстрировала Россия, американцы вступили на опасную тропу милитаризма. Здесь никто не думает о минимизации негативных последствий развала Договора о РСМД. Вашингтон в очередной раз продемонстрировал алчное стремление к достижению собственного военного превосходства.
• Хотел бы подчеркнуть, что российская толерантность к провокациям против безопасности нашей страны небезгранична. Неужели в Германии не понимают, что появление американского ракетного ударного потенциала на немецкой территории приведет к тому, что эти объекты будут в створе российских прицелов. Это – не бряцание оружием, а простая логика нормального человека. Не надо быть военным специалистом, чтобы понимать все возможные последствия гонки ракетных вооружений в Европе.

🗓 8-9 июля в г. Бразилиа состоялось 3-е заседание Рабочей группы G20 по проблематике расширения прав и возможностей женщин.
В ходе встречи, проходившей в конструктивном ключе, обсуждался проект Министерской декларации «двадцатки». Документ будет призван способствовать борьбе с гендерным неравенством, ликвидации всех форм насилия против женщин и девочек и укреплению экономического потенциала женщин.
🇷🇺 Российская делегация, представленная экспертами Министерства труда и социальной защиты, в своих комментариях придерживалась позиции сохранения традиционных ценностей, расширения прав и возможностей женщин, развития их потенциала и всесторонней реализации, одновременно подчёркивая необходимость избегать подмены понятий. Данную позицию поддержал ряд дружественных стран.
Принятие итогового документа запланировано на профильной министерской встрече, которая состоится 11 октября в г. Бразилиа.

❓: Уважаемый Анатолий Иванович, 11 июля в Вашингтоне завершился саммит НАТО. Каковы Ваши оценки его итогов?
💬 А.И.Антонов: Вашингтонский саммит показал, что натовцы бесповоротно встали на путь конфронтации и материальной подготовки войны. США и их сателлиты мобилизуют максимум ресурсов для сохранения своей терпящей крах гегемонии.
• Врагами объявляются все, кто отказывается подчиняться диктату и воле Запада. Россия вновь названа первостепенной угрозой. Подтверждена политика НАТО по отказу от серьезных переговоров с нашей страной. США не хотят искать компромиссы и требуют от нас безропотно согласиться с движением военной машины альянса на Восток.
• Мир на Украине рассматривается через призму стратегического поражения России. Нашу страну представляют чуть ли не исчадием ада. Пора бы прекратить строить иллюзорные «замки» и понять - Российская Федерация была, есть и будет. Победить нас никому не суждено.
• Некоторые трезвые мысли на саммите в пользу политико- дипломатического урегулирования украинского конфликта «забивались» русофобской риторикой. Слушать и слышать кого-либо, кроме себя, «ястребы» не желают, да, видимо, и не способны.
• Решение натовцев о дальнейшей накачке киевского режима оружием против России и размещении дальнобойных систем США в Европе подчеркивает обоснованность начала специальной военной операции. Нынешние шаги оппонентов по созданию дополнительных угроз российской безопасности предопределяют наши адекватные компенсирующие меры в военно-технической сфере.
• Европы для НАТО мало. Интересы альянса простираются за пределы Евро-Атлантики - в первую очередь, на Азию. Государства «золотого миллиарда» хотят держать в придавленном состоянии и высасывать соки из всех регионов мира. Ради насаждения неоколониальных порядков Североатлантический альянс фактически декларирует право применять силу в любой точке планеты, будь то под предлогом экспорта демократии, защиты прав человека или борьбы с терроризмом.
• США и их союзники открыто претендуют на роль мирового полицейского. Требуют исполнения правил, придуманных в Вашингтоне и других столицах НАТО. Подчеркнем, что итог от «гуманитарных» интервенций этого якобы оборонительного блока известен - разрушение государств, военные преступления, разгул экстремизма и массовая гибель мирного населения.
• Можно без сомнения утверждать, что большинству государств чужда политика неоколониализма. Задача всех здравомыслящих и миролюбивых стран - бороться за многополярность, основанную на международном праве, принципе равной и неделимой безопасности.

🔹 Plus de 20 pays et l'UE ont signé un document lors du sommet pour accélérer l'assistance militaire à Kiev;
🔹 Les pays de l'Otan ont convenu de soutenir l'Ukraine à hauteur de 40 milliards d'euros en 2025;
🔹 L’Otan va consulter l’Ukraine sur le développement et la mise en œuvre de l’architecture de défense aérienne et antimissile pour une compatibilité totale avec l’Alliance;
🔹 Un haut représentant de l'Alliance viendra à Kiev pour assurer la coordination avec les autorités locales;
