⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on the Russian Armed Forces’ exercises held to practice for the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons
💬 Regarding the upcoming Russian military exercises held to practice for the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons, we would like to point out that these drills should be viewed in the context of the recent militant statements made by Western officials and the highly destabilising actions taken by several NATO countries to increase military pressure on the Russian Federation <...>.
👉 The matter concerns above all the open declaration of support for and the provision of direct assistance to the terrorist attacks against Russia carried out by the Kiev regime with the use of increasingly more advanced Western weapons provided to it. <...>
Apart from the British and French long-range missiles, which have long been used in Ukraine, we have taken special note of the models of US-made ATACMS missiles, which have been recently sent to Ukraine and are capable of reaching targets inside Russia.
At the same time, attempting to build up multifaceted missile threats to Russia, the US has openly and manifestly launched the deployment of ground-based intermediate- and shorter-range missiles, which were previously prohibited under the INF Treaty, around the world. <...>
❗️We hereby expressly declare that we reserve the right to respond in kind, no matter where US-made intermediate- and shorter-range missiles are deployed, which would amount to the termination of Russia’s unilateral moratorium on the deployment of these weapon systems. <...>
These and several other actions by NATO countries actually show that they are deliberately trying to escalate the Ukrainian crisis all the way to an open military confrontation between NATO countries and Russia within the framework of their hostile policy of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on Russia.

President Vladimir Putin asked me to convey his gratitude to your President for the congratulations on his re-election as well as for the condolences that the President of Sierra Leone extended to us following the Crocus City Hall attack.
🤝 We have a busy agenda. Russia and Sierra Leone cooperate in international organisations to promote justice and democracy on the world stage. There are a number of other bilateral issues that we would to like to address to boost our trade, economic and investment cooperation.
I consider your visit timelier than ever and I am looking forward to productive talks.

Посол по особым поручениям МИД России по преступлениям киевского режима Р.В.Мирошник при содействии Лаборатории интеллектуального анализа данных в области международных отношений ИМИ МГИМО МИД России продолжает осуществлять мониторинг военных преступлений киевского режима.
❗️На минувшей неделе (29 апреля – 6 мая) снова наметился рост числа обстрелов по гражданским объектам российских регионов, примыкающих к линии боевого соприкосновения.
Киев массово применяет беспилотники для нанесения ударов по мирным жителям, гражданским объектам и критической инфраструктуре. Целенаправленным налётам подвергается энергетическая инфраструктура и Запорожская атомная электростанция. Число прилётов по ЗАЭС уже исчисляется сотнями.
Всего за минувшую неделю пострадали 30 мирных жителей: ранены 25 человек, в том числе 2 несовершеннолетних, погибли 5 человек, в том числе подросток. По мирным целям на российских территориях выпущено не менее 1500 боеприпасов.
☝️ Подавляющая часть используемых ВСУ для ударов по гражданскому населению вооружений – западного производства.
• Артиллерия, а также РСЗО активно использовались для атак, в том числе с применением кассетных боеприпасов, на ДНР, Херсонскую и Запорожскую области. Зафиксированы прямые попадания снарядов в жилые дома, объекты гражданской инфраструктуры.
• Курскую область только за двое суток атаковали не менее 40 беспилотников. В Рыльском районе в результате обстрелов было нарушено электроснабжение в трёх населенных пунктах.
• В Белгородской области за сутки зафиксировано не менее 24 инцидентов с БпЛА в Белгородском районе, Грайворонском, Шебекинском, Валуйском городских округах.
• По территории ДНР ВСУ выпустили порядка 500 боеприпасов, в том числе кассетных. Под массированными ударами находилась Горловка. Из-за обстрела кассетными боеприпасами пострадал пятилетний ребёнок.

🤝 Состоялся обмен мнениями по всему комплексу вопросов развития разноплановых российско-экватогвинейских связей. Подтверждён взаимный настрой на дальнейшее углубление политического диалога, реализацию взаимовыгодных торгово-экономических и инвестиционных проектов, тесную координацию шагов Москвы и Малабо на международной арене.
Отдельное внимание было уделено вопросам налаживания полноценного функционирования российского посольства, возобновляющего свою деятельность в столице РЭГ.

💬 We conducted substantive Russia-Sierra Leone talks. We share the view that today’s meeting was timely and confirms our mutual striving to continue strengthening the traditionally friendly bilateral relations on the principles of equality and mutual respect.

☝️ We maintain good cooperation on implementing the agreements reached during the two Russia-Africa summits. In accordance with a decision of the St Petersburg Summit in July 2023, the Russia-African Union foreign ministers will hold their first meeting next November. We hope that our friends will be represented at the proper level.
We confirmed our gratitude for Sierra Leone’s position of principle on the issues related to the situation around Ukraine. It developed because of the hybrid war that the West was preparing for a long time with a view to weakening our country, creating threats to its security and depriving millions of Russian speakers in Crimea and Donbass of their lawful rights.

💬 Sergey Lavrov: We are going to open new diplomatic offices in Africa, including Freetown before the end of 2024. We have adopted all required decisions and it remains to fulfil them. We are working on this in practical terms.
