5️⃣5️⃣ лет назад, 16 марта 1968 г., военнослужащие Армии США полностью уничтожили деревенскую общину Сонгми в провинции Куангнгай, Вьетнам, совершив массовое убийство гражданского населения.
Американские солдаты с особой жестокостью расправились с более 500 местными жителями (из них 173 ребёнка и 182 женщины, включая 17 беременных).
После артиллерийского обстрела военнослужащие роты «Чарли» высадились на западной окраине деревни и сразу открыли огонь по крестьянам, работавшим на рисовых полях. Ведя наступление, американские каратели забрасывали хижины гранатами, а их жителей жестоко пытали и расстреливали на месте.
Правда об этом бесчеловечном преступлении стала известна лишь в ноябре 1969 г. благодаря расследованиям независимых журналистов, в т.ч. Сеймура Херша, и публикации серии фотографий Рональда Хэберли, одного из солдат роты «Чарли».

🔹Во II квартале текущего года ожидаем существенное увеличение ВВП по сравнению с прошлым годом.
🔹России удалось компенсировать закрытие западных рынков, расширить внешнеторговые контакты с государствами быстрорастущих регионов мира.
🔹В целом внешний торговый оборот России за 2022 год вырос на 8,1%. Профицит торгового баланса на 70% больше, чем в 2021 году.
🔹Ожидается, что по итогам марта 2023 года инфляция составит меньше 4%, что ниже, чем в странах еврозоны.

❓ Question: Could you comment on the recent US drone incident?
💬 Sergey Lavrov: Our military have given their assessment which was related by our ambassador in Washington Anatoly Antonov. He explained to journalists and others how we see it from a global security standpoint. He was summoned to the US State Department, where he was presented with totally unfounded claims about violations of the freedom of air.
You have heard the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs of Staff saying that the United States will continue to fly wherever it pleases “in accordance with international law.”
☝️ But if we follow this logic, the space around the US has the same status as the space over the Black Sea.
In doing so, they completely ignore the fact that after the start of the special military operation our military declared the relevant areas of the Black Sea adjacent to the shore in certain places to have a restricted status for the use of any aircraft.
❌ The defiant disregard for this objective fact suggests that the United States is constantly trying to create some kind of provocation to fuel confrontational thinking. This is not good.
They constantly say that they are a responsible power interested in strategic stability. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told me this at the meeting in India. But their words are at odds with their deeds.
❓ Question: What does it imply for global security?
💬 Sergey Lavrov: As far as global security is concerned, any incident that triggers a clash between two of the great, major nuclear powers carries very serious risks. They surely realise this.

With exceptional cruelty, the American soldiers killed over 500 local residents, of whom 173 were children and 182 women, including 17 pregnant women.
After artillery bombardment, members of Charlie Company landed on the western outskirts of the village and immediately opened fire on the peasants who were working in the rice fields. The American killers threw grenades in huts, and brutally tortured and then shot people on the spot.

We note the constant coordinated flow of disinformation about terrorist attacks against gas pipelines of the Nord Stream system.
👉Mainstream media deliberately continues to promote fake theories about the destruction of the critical energy infrastructure in the Baltic Sea. Once again, "fantastic" scenarios about some individuals who managed to carry out such a complex sabotage on some rented "yacht" are being unfolded. Although any reasonable person understands that preparation and execution of such a terrorist attack is only within the power of certain states possessing specific technologies.
🔹The purpose of this information campaign is obviously aimed at diverting the readers' attention from the resonant investigation by the well-known publicist Seymour Hersh, which is "toxic" for Western capitals. As well as at silencing emerging important details, such as the discovery of an unknown device that looks like a detonator antenna about 30 kilometers away from the site of the terrorist attack. Apparently, in the United States it is considered unworthy to draw attention to the fact that the initiatives of the Russian company Gazprom, the actual owner of the destroyed pipelines, to participate in an objective investigation are still being blocked.
⁉️What is it, if not an attempt to “cover up” the sponsors and executors of the sabotage, as a result of which not only Nord Streams, but also mutually beneficial energy ties between Russia and Europe have been undermined. In the end, ordinary Europeans are the ones who suffer.
If American journalists are really interested in establishing the true circumstances and those who arranged this, without exaggeration, "crime of the century", we advise them to heed more attention to the calls by the Russian Federation to launch a transparent international investigation.
👉No matter how keenly our ill-wishers try to hide the truth, it will still prevail. There is simply no other way. We will make every effort for this to happen. We also call on the U.S. journalists to investigate this matter diligently.

Stéphane, if you cannot comment even though the monastery’s monks have issued an open appeal to the international community in several languages, you should admit your bias and stop discrediting the United Nations. Your conduct signifies a total loss of professional skills or is evidence of fulfilling a political order. When you keep saying that you have no information about the developments in Ukraine although your boss regularly visits Kiev – the last time he did so was on March 8 – you are breeding distrust for the UN and its Secretariat.
When fire damaged Notre-Dame de Paris, which is, like the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, on the UNESCO World Heritage List, you issued a comment the very next day and promised to help with its reconstruction. It was only church property that was damaged, but the developments at the Lavra Monastery concern more than the monks and their future, even though they are important as well because they have nowhere to go. They concern the Church as a Divine Institution.
Stéphane, I don’t want to think that you are a segregationist who divides global religions by their significance, giving information support to Catholics but refusing to react to the plight of Orthodox Christians. However, this is what I am forced to conclude. There are manifestations of segregation in all areas.
☝️ Unless the Secretariat makes an effort to offer balanced information, we will raise this issue at a session of the UN General Assembly Committee on Information.

👉Журналисты близких к администрации изданий намеренно продолжают плодить заведомо ложные версии подрыва критической энергоинфраструктуры в Балтийском море. Вновь раскручиваются «фантастические» истории о неких гражданах, сподобившихся на арендованной «яхте» осуществить столь сложную диверсию. Хотя любому здравомыслящему человеку понятно, что подготовка и реализация такого теракта под силу лишь отдельным государствам, обладающим определенными технологиями.
🔹Цель этой информационной кампании - увести внимание читателей от «токсичного» для западных столиц резонансного расследования известного публициста С.Херша. Замолчать появление новых важных деталей. Таких как обнаружение в 30 км от места теракта неизвестного устройства, похожего на антенну-детонатор. Здесь, судя по всему, считают недостойным внимания тот факт, что российской компании «Газпром» - собственнику трубопроводов - продолжают блокировать любые инициативы, направленные на проведение объективного следствия.
⁉️Что это, если не желание «покрыть» исполнителей и заказчиков диверсии, в результате которой оказались подорваны не только «Северные потоки», но и взаимовыгодные энергосвязи России и Европы. Страдают в итоге рядовые европейцы.
Если американские корреспонденты действительно заинтересованы в установлении истинных обстоятельств и заказчиков этого, без преувеличения, «преступления века» - советуем им чаще обращать внимание на призывы Российской Федерации запустить прозрачное международное расследование.

🔹Цель этой информационной кампании - увести внимание читателей от «токсичного» для западных столиц резонансного расследования известного публициста С.Херша. Замолчать появление новых важных деталей. Таких как обнаружение в 30 км от места теракта неизвестного устройства, похожего на антенну-детонатор. Здесь, судя по всему, считают недостойным внимания тот факт, что российской компании «Газпром» - собственнику трубопроводов - продолжают блокировать любые инициативы, направленные на проведение объективного следствия.
⁉️Что это, если не желание «покрыть» исполнителей и заказчиков диверсии, в результате которой оказались подорваны не только «Северные потоки», но и взаимовыгодные энергосвязи России и Европы. Страдают в итоге рядовые европейцы.
Если американские корреспонденты действительно заинтересованы в установлении истинных обстоятельств и заказчиков этого, без преувеличения, «преступления века» - советуем им чаще обращать внимание на призывы Российской Федерации запустить прозрачное международное расследование.
👉Как бы ни пытались наши недоброжелатели утаить правду, она все равно восторжествует. Иначе и быть не может. Будем прилагать для этого все усилия. Призываем к честной работе и местных журналистов.

Facts:
The exports of cheap Ukrainian grain via Solidarity Lanes really brought about a tangible reduction in prices on grain and other food but only in the EU itself rather than the entire world.
🌾 Some EU countries are literally flooded by much cheaper Ukrainian agricultural products. Local farmers are about to go bankrupt.
👉 In other words, the international “humanitarian” initiative that was supposed to help the poorest countries amounts in practice to nothing more than a commercial project serving the interests of Brussels.

🎙 Joint Statement on religious intolerance in Europe delivered by a Russian representative at the 52nd Session of the UN Human Rights Council:

❗️ We condemn and reject acts of religious intolerance and emphasize once again our principled position that actions aimed at offending the feelings of believers and inciting inter-religious hatred are unacceptable.
❗️ We would like to reiterate our strong stance on the critical importance for social cohesion and sustainable development of mutual understanding and tolerance in regard to religion, beliefs, culture, ethnicity and language.
❗️ We call upon all States to further promote joint efforts in order to achieve the goal of building a world where individuals of diverse faiths, religions, beliefs, languages and cultures would co-exist in harmony and enjoy equal rights and mutual respect.

🕯 На этой неделе пришла трагическая весть – не стало одного из величайших японских писателей современности, нобелевского лауреата Кэндзабуро Оэ.
Его книги, такие как «Объяли меня воды до души моей», «Опоздавшая молодежь», «Эхо небес» и многие другие, были посвящены послевоенной Японии, но одновременно вскрывали глубокие нравственные проблемы, стоявшие перед всем человечеством.
Кэндзабуро Оэ был хорошо знаком российским читателям и любим ими. Спецпредставитель Президента Российской Федерации по международному культурному сотрудничеству М.Е.Швыдкой направил телеграмму с соболезнованиями родным и близким писателя.
☝️ Откровенно говоря, были удивлены весьма скупой реакцией на эту утрату со стороны официального Токио. По всей видимости, сказалась гуманистская и по-настоящему патриотическая гражданская позиция Кэндзабуро Оэ. Он открыто выступал за независимость Японии от США.
Однако, наверное, самое главное, что не может не раздражать японский официоз, – это симпатия, с которой мэтр японской литературы относился к нашей стране. В молодые годы он посетил СССР, открыто признавался, что «учился писать у русской литературы».
👉 Налицо вопиющий пример того, как высшие нравственные ценности, которые проповедовал Кэндзабуро Оэ, приносятся в жертву конъюнктурным соображениям. Как говорится, нет пророка в своем отечестве.
