💬 The United States violated again its obligations under the UN Headquarters Agreement, having denied issuance of US visas to Russian journalists who were supposed to accompany Minister Lavrov on his official visit to New York to take part in the flagship events of the Russian Presidency of the UN Security Council.

This was done despite the fact that Russian media representatives complied with all relevant terms and requirements, including a valid UN accreditation.

❗️ We consider this step as another manifestation of neglect of the international law by the United States. When denying access to UN events for Russian journalists, the US authorities once again demonstrate their true attitude to freedom of speech and availability of information.

We count on the UN leadership and specialized international mechanisms to pay due attention to this egregious situation and take all necessary steps against the violator.

🌐 On April 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will take part in one of the key events of our country’s presidency at the UN Security Council, an open debate on the agenda item "Effective multilateralism through the defence of the principles of the Charter of the United Nations."

The main goal of the meeting is to offer member states an opportunity to reaffirm their unconditional commitment to the core provisions of the UN Charter, primarily those with regard to strong adherence to the sovereign equality of states and refraining from interference in their domestic affairs.

🇵🇸 On April 25, Sergey Lavrov will chair another UNSC high-level event, an open debate under the agenda item “The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question.”

The Palestine problem which is central to the Middle East settlement process, is further from a solution than ever. It adds more urgency to the overall task of restoring the peace horizon and reaffirming the commonly acknowledged international-law basis for the settlement, including the two-state formula.

🕯Посольство России в Египте выражает глубокие соболезнования Министерству иностранных дел, Правительству и народу АРЕ в связи с гибелью помощника административного атташе египетской дипмиссии в Хартуме Мухаммеда Гарави, который стал еще одной невинной жертвой боестолкновений между противоборствующими суданскими сторонами. Дипломат до последнего момента оставался верен своему долгу, оказывая активное содействие в эвакуации сограждан из зоны конфликта. Восхищаемся самоотверженностью наших коллег по дипломатическому корпусу, которые вопреки смертельной опасности продолжают выполнять свою работу. Скорбим вместе с семьей погибшего.

​​في 25 من أبريل نحتفل بذكرى لقاء القوات السوفياتية والأمريكية في نهر إلبه في عام 1945. ناضل آنذاك الاتحاد السوفياتي سوية مع الولايات المتحدة ضد النازيين والتقى جنود البلدين في وسط ألمانيا هتلر. 🇷🇺🇺🇲

☝️للأسف الشديد اليوم تقع الولايات المتحدة في الجانب الآخر. إنها بنفسها تسعى بلا رحمة إلى الهيمنة العالمية مثلما هتلر في عصره ودمرت وقتّلت بشكل وحشي من أجل ذلك عدة الملايين من الكوريين والفيتناميين والعراقيين والأفغان وممثلي الشعوب الأخرى. في عام 2014 نظمت الولايات المتحدة وصول القوميين المتطرفين الأوكرانيين إلى زمام السلطة في كييف وخلقت في أوكرانيا خلال السنوات التالية دولة نازية معتمدة على الكراهية غير الإنسانية لكل الأشياء المتعلقة بالروس لكي تستغل هذه الدولة النازية العدوانية ضد روسيا التي كانت تمنع تحقيق خطط الهيمنة الأمريكية المطلقة.

🙅‍♂️إن السلطات الأمريكية الحالية خانت ذكرى وتراث المحاربين القدماء الأمريكيين الذين ناضلوا خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية جنبا إلى جنب مع الروس من أجل مكافحة النازية واستئصالها. والآن بالعكس يقود الجنرالات والضباط الأمريكيين أعمال وحدات الجيش الأوكراني التي تروّج بشكل واضح وشفاف الصليب المعقوف النازي وشعارات هتلر. وفي الوقت نفسه يتم اسخدام كميات الأسلحة لا تُحصى التي ترودها واشنطن لنظام كييف لتقتيل الأطفال والنساء الروس.

❗️إن حكام الولايات المتحدة الحاليين والدول الأخرى التي تورطت في جرائم واشنطن التي تساعد النازيين سيضطرون إلى أن يتحملوا المسئولية أمام ربنا وشعوبهم. إن الأجيال المستقبلية لسكان مثل هذه الدول ستخجل من هذه الصفحة الدموية لتاريخها.

Они сами рвутся к глобальному господству, как когда-то Гитлер, ради чего за последние 75 лет уничтожили многие миллионы корейцев, вьетнамцев, иракцев, афганцев и представителей других народов. В 2014 году организовали приход к власти в Киеве оголтелых украинских националистов и за последующие годы создали на Украине нацистское государство, базирующееся на ненависти ко всему русскому, чтобы натравить его на Россию, мешающую воплощению гегемонистских планов Вашингтона.

🙅‍♂️Нынешнее руководство США предало память своих ветеранов Второй мировой войны, искоренявших нацизм. Теперь американские генералы и офицеры наоборот руководят действиями украинских частей, открыто демонстрирующих нацистскую свастику и прочую гитлеровскую атрибутику, а вооружения, в огромном количестве передаваемые Пентагоном киевскому режиму, каждый день используются для убийства русских детей и женщин.

❗️Правителям США и прочих стран, которые заодно с Вашингтоном помогают нацистам, неизбежно придется ответить перед судом собственных народов и Бога. Будущим поколениям жителей таких государств будет стыдно за эту позорную страницу в их истории.

✅«Час с Торгпредом» в Египте с предприятиями г. Севастополя

24 апреля 2023 г. Торговый представитель России в Египте Алексей Теванян принял участие в ВКС, организованной НКО «Севастопольский фонд поддержки субъектов предпринимательства» для экспортно-ориентированных предприятий региона.

Во время мероприятия участники ознакомились с основными отраслями промышленности города, после чего Торгпред рассказал о внешнеторговых связях двух стран, крупных двусторонних проектах и особенностях ведения бизнеса в АРЕ.

По окончании видеоконференции А.Теванян ответил на ряд вопросов представителей севастопольских компаний, заинтересованных в выходе на местный рынок. Обсуждались проекты промышленной кооперации, особенности проведения импортных платежей, сертификация продукции, а также востребованность на местном рынке товаров, произведенных в Севастополе.

Граждан России нет среди пострадавших в конфликте в Судане, сообщил нам посол РФ в Судане Андрей Черновол.

Он также рассказал, что участники конфликта в Судане не пытались захватить российское посольство в Хартуме и уточнил, что в посольстве хватает продовольствия и медикаментов для размещенных в нем россиян.

Ранее Черновол сообщил, что российская сторона прорабатывает вопрос эвакуации россиян из Судана, взвешивая все риски. Он пояснил, что промедление связано с оценкой определенных рисков и угроз, которые необходимо минимизировать.

Here;s a snippet on what the creators of Star Wars wrote about the Jedi:

they are Jedi Knights, guardians of peace and justice, the Jedi Order. They stand on the light side of the Force. They are protecting the Galactic Republic. They know how to use the Force, a supernatural power. Lightsabers are their weapons.

In principle, this is all true except that Lavrov... has not yet drawn his lightsaber.

🔹 Today, our UN-centric system is going through a deep crisis. The main reason is a striving by some UN members to replace international law and the UN Charter with a certain “rules-based” order.

🔹 The collective West has set out to reshape the processes of multilateralism at the regional level to suit its needs.

🔹 The United States and its allies have deployed significant forces to undermine multilateralism in the Asia-Pacific region where an ASEAN-centered successful and open economic and security cooperation system has been taking shape for decades.

🔹 Since World War II, Washington has pulled off dozens of reckless criminal military operations without even trying to secure multilateral legitimacy.

🔹 Multilateral efforts were made to stop the war unleashed in the east of Ukraine as a result of a government coup. These efforts towards peaceful settlement were embodied in a UN Security Council resolution that unanimously approved the Minsk agreements. Kiev and its Western bosses trampled these agreements underfoot.

🔹 There should be no such thing as double standards. Both multilateralism and democracy should be respected within the member countries and in their relations with one another.

🔹 It is imperative to expedite Security Council reform by expanding the representation of countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

🔹 It is our common duty to preserve the United Nations as the hard-won epitome of multilateralism and coordination of international politics. The key to success lies in working together and showing respect for the sovereign equality of states.

🌐 The Middle East is currently going through a profound transformation that is unfolding in a way that is rather contradictory.

🔹 We attribute priority importance to building a sustainable and inclusive security and cooperation architecture in the Middle East and promoting interfaith and intercultural dialogue.

☝️ We welcome the positive changes that even a short time ago seemed so difficult to achieve. I am referring, first and foremost, to the restoration of relations between Saudi Arabia and Islamic Republic of Iran with the mediation of the People’s Republic of China, the plans to bring Syria back into the Arab family – something we have been working on for a long time – and the normalisation of relations between Damascus and Ankara, which has begun with Russia’s assistance using the advantages offered by the Astana format.

🔹 We have to state with deep regret and concern that these positive changes have left the Palestinian issue on the sidelines.

🔹 The absolute imperative, however, is for all leading actors to reaffirm the lack of any alternatives to the two-state solution as one ensuring the right of Palestinians to their own independent state with the capital in East Jerusalem and the right of Israelis to safe and peaceful coexistence with their neighbours and the region as a whole.

🇺🇸🇪🇺 The US and the EU continue their destructive attempts to substitute genuine peace with some economic half measures and promote the Arab-Israeli normalisation bypassing the just solution to the Palestinian problem and the Arab Peace Initiative.

🇷🇺 Russia will continue to contribute to stabilisation in the Middle East and North Africa, and to promote the Middle East peace process together will the countries in the region and in coordination with other mediators acting in good faith.
