Whatever the cause, McFaul’s animosity towards Russia colors everything he does or writes, and this article is no exception.

The article’s main point is very clear, serving both McFaul’s Russophobic agenda and the financial interests of the military-industrial complex: Trump should avoid cutting aid to Ukraine and instead increase it. In other words, more suffering for Russia, more profits for defense contractors (and perhaps McFaul himself), and a rising toll of Ukrainian casualties that McFaul appears utterly indifferent to.
