🇬🇧Liturgy after work: OCU expands on the topic of postponing holidays 🇺🇦Літургія після роботи: у ПЦУ розвинули тему перенесення свят
The OCU theologian believes that the Mother of God-related holidays should be moved to Saturday, while the Lord's holidays to Sunday.

Following “metropolitan” O. Drabinko, Andriy Dudchenko, theologian and secretary of the synodal theological and liturgical commission of the OCU, spoke in favor of postponing the holidays.
On his Facebook, he stated that only freelancers, housewives and pensioners can visit churches on midweek holidays. Therefore, as Dudchenko writes, “we will come to the point of moving church holidays from the week to the weekend.”
In this regard, he proposes to move the feasts of the Mother of God to Saturday, and the Lord's feasts to Sunday. As an option, according to the “priest,” one can serve the liturgy in the evening, after work. In this case, the Eucharistic fast begins “after lunch.”
“The main thing is that we celebrate an event, not a date. And the modern Christian community (Church) can adjust the date and method of celebration as long as it's suitable for the members of this community,” said Dudchenko.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the OCU announced the need to postpone major holidays to the weekend.

🇬🇧Uniates accuse Moscow of Transcarpathians' reluctance to unite with UGCC 🇺🇦Уніати звинуватили Москву в небажанні закарпатців об'єднуватися з УГКЦ
A Uniate priest believes that the reluctance of the Mukachevo Eparchy to unite with the UGCC violates his “basic right to practice his faith” in the national community.

The Greek Catholic priest of the Mukachevo GCC, Vasyl Mandziuk, in an interview with Espreso, accused Moscow of the reluctance of its structure to unite with the UGCC.
He complained that people in Transcarpathia “are not very nationally conscious” and that they “don’t care where to go, to the OCU or to the Moscow Patriarchate.”
Mandziuk believes that the Mukachevo diocese, independent of the UGCC, at the beginning of Ukrainian independence could only be registered “with the help of the special services.”
“Later there were repeated attempts at unification, but this was always opposed by certain circles associated with the Hungarians and Slovaks,” Mandziuk said and added that he could only explain this by the fact that “Russia is behind this.”
According to him, the explanation that there are many Hungarian, Romanian and Slovak communities in this region is wrong, because “Transcarpathia cannot be considered a multinational region.”
Mandziuk said that the authorities do not even want to register UGCC communities here: “The greatest paradox is not that the Mukachevo diocese has a separate status and is not subordinate to the UGCC. Transcarpathia is the only region in Ukraine where it is impossible to register a UGCC community!” he emphasized. The priest is indignant that the UGCC does not even have its own bishop here.
“It appears that because of such formalities, we cannot actually exercise our constitutional right to profess our faith in the religious community with which we are related as one nation,” notes outraged Mandziuk.
According to him, this “problem” must be solved at the state level, since “we are talking about our constitutional rights, we are citizens of Ukraine.” He believes that Ambassador to the Vatican A. Yurash should deal with this situation.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the UGCC chaplain called on his parishioners to expel UOC believers from their churches.

🇬🇧KCC deputy: UOC temples in Kyiv can be transferred to other faiths 🇺🇦Храми УПЦ у Києві можуть передати іншим конфесіям, – депутат Київради
A deputy of the Kyiv City Council, who proposed to “check” 74 UOC churches in Kyiv, said that no one would demolish the shrines, but they could be given to other faiths.

Vadim Vasilchuk, the author of the project in the Kyiv Council on the “inspection of 74 churches” of the UOC, said that the shrines that were erected in Kyiv with violations could be transferred for use to other faiths. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, it is the court that will make a decision on each of the UOC churches in Kyiv that committed violations during construction.
Vasilchuk noted that no one would demolish the UOC churches in Kyiv, although the text of his project provides for the “demolition” of shrines being “unauthorized buildings.”
“The court will decide what to do with illegally built structures – to transfer them to the balance of the city, other religious organizations, or make another decision. Each case will be considered separately!” he wrote.
At the same time, the deputy of the Kyiv City Council did not specify how UOC churches, which have the status of architectural monuments, could be built "with violations": the Illinsky Church in Podil, the Intercession Church in Priorka, the Cross and Ascension Church in Vozdvyzhenka, the Resurrection Church ("Afghansky", − Ed.) near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and others.
As the UOJ reported, the Kyiv City Council is considering a project to demolish 74 UOC churches.

🇬🇧"THEY ARE TORTURES": ABBESS OF THE UOC MONASTERY ABOUT CUTTING OFF FROM ELECTRICITY 🇺🇦ЦЕ #ТОРТУРИ: ІГУМЕНЯ ПРО ВІДРІЗАННЯ МОНАСТИРЯ #УПЦ ВІД ЕЛЕКТРИКИ
On September 18, the authorities turned off the electricity in the UOC Epiphany convent in Kremenets town

"Disconnecting cells from power supply in the autumn-winter period has all the signs of torture. Please stop doing illegal actions to disconnect cells from power supply, "− wrote abbess.

There is one electricity line for buildings belonging to state - reserve, and new buildings belonging to the monastery, in for which there can be no reason for de-energizing Representatives of the RES disconnected the ENTIRE monastery from the electricity. They committed frankly illegal actions. There are 80 nuns in the monastery, most of them are already elderly.

During the Soviet regime, the complex of monastery structure, consisting of the Epiphany Cathedral, cells, bell tower, was confiscated, and the monastery itself was closed. Over the past 32 years, the sisters of the monastery carried out repairing at their own expense and maintained "state property" in proper technical condition. Now the state is trying to evict the nuns from their monastery again.

🇬🇧UOC comments on the KCC’s project to demolish 74 churches

🇬🇧UOC comments on the KCC’s project to demolish 74 churches 🇺🇦В УПЦ прокоментували проєкт Київради про знесення 74 храмів
Met. Clement said that the proposal of a Kyiv City Council deputy to demolish 74 churches in the capital indicates incitement of aggression towards the UOC believers.

The Chairman of the Information Department of the UOC, Metropolitan Clement, commented to the UOJ on the project of Kyiv City Council deputy Vadym Vasylchuk to “inspect” 74 churches in Kyiv.
According to the bishop, such initiatives openly indicate incitement of aggression towards believers of the UOC and promote the legislative establishment of religious segregation in society.
Metropolitan Clement said that the list of churches indicated in the text of the project includes almost all historical shrines of Kyiv city, which either almost never closed or were transferred after closing to the Church back in Soviet times.
“Some deputy, who obviously only recently became a resident of Kyiv and does not know the history of the capital, claims that these churches were built in violation of documentation and were located on territory not approved by officials. The very fact of such statements is some kind of shame, which speaks of the absurdity imposed on society as a norm of life,” the hierarch said.
Commenting on the deputy’s statement that churches could be transferred to other faiths, the bishop asked the question: “If the state believes that an ancient temple cannot belong to the UOC because its location has not been agreed upon with the bureaucrats, then how can this very temple in the same place belong to another religion?”
“We witness the same thing in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. The reserve is worried that the UOC ‘arbitrarily’ and without the necessary documents built buildings on the territory of the Lavra. And these same buildings are sealed in order to transfer them to other organizations. Naturally, a question arises why the available documents are insufficient for the UOC, while it is possible to use church buildings without any documents at all for other organizations. It is evident in this disproportionate approach that the state is lobbying the interests of some citizens to the detriment of the interests of other similar citizens,” he added.
As the UOJ reported, the Kyiv City Council is considering a project to demolish 74 UOC churches in the capital.

🇬🇧IN 5 MINUTES WE WILL TELL HOW "VOLUNTARY TRANSITIONS" ACTUALLY HAPPEN

🇺🇦ЗА 5 ХВИЛИН МИ РОЗПОВІМО ЯК НАСПРАВДІ ВІДБУВАЮТЬСЯ "ДОБРОВІЛЬНІ ПЕРЕХОДИ"

🔴 SCHEME OF SEIZURE OF UOC TEMPLES

In Ukraine, hundreds of temples of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have become the property of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, assuring that these are voluntary transitions.

☦️But the vast majority of parishioners of these churches, together with the priests, refuse all these voluntary transitions.

🙏 And after losing of their shrines, they go to pray to huts, sheds, basements, or even to the forest.

🇬🇧ROCOR bishop on Ukrainian war: This is an evil that cannot be justified 🇺🇦Ієрарх РПЦЗ про війну в Україні: Це зло, яке не може бути виправдане
Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe said that he condemns the persecution of believers of the UOC by the Ukrainian authorities.

Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, a hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, has deplored the war in Ukraine and called for its end. His statement was published on the diocese's website.
"I don't know how to express it more clearly: war is evil. It cannot be justified. God will bless peacemakers, as the Lord Himself has said," the hierarch stated.
He emphasized that his stance on the matter is not political but intrinsically religious. "We stand against all war, and this war in particular, as we stand also against bloodshed, and against persecution in all cases — whoever may be their perpetrators. We have already stated many times that the military actions in Ukraine are wrong," he said, highlighting the suffering that war inflicts on people.
Bishop Irenei mentioned that since the war began, he and his felllow bishops in Europe have stood against it whole-heartedly and vocally. They have built upon this stance with action. They have raised large sums of money that have been transmitted to humanitarian relief funds in Ukraine. They have received formal thanks from Ukrainian church leaders for the support of their suffering people. They have opened and operated food banks to provide food to Ukrainian refugees in the UK and Europe. They have assisted in housing and supporting refugee families. They have run a summer camp for children of Ukrainian refugee families in Europe. They have welcomed refugee priests and integrated them into our parishes. They have opened a new parish in Switzerland to cater to large groups of Ukrainian refugees in a region where there was no parish before.
Furthermore, Bishop Irenei stressed that he stands against the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) by secular authorities, "a reality that is well documented and against which there have been calls raised by religious leaders all across the world."
At the end of his statement, the hierarch noted, "There are those who will always try to politicise this, but we must and will ignore these false accusations and strive simply to follow the example of Christ. In the face of this sinister war, with the bloodshed it continues to cause and the persecution of innocents that it fosters, let us strive together to help all those innocents, and to bring a swift and longed-for end to this blight on human dignity."
Previously, it was reported that according to a Cypriot hierarch's opinion, the war in Ukraine could mark the beginning of a third world war.

🇬🇧Lavra's lawyer files another complaint about outrages of Lavra "activists" 🇺🇦Адвокат Лаври подав до поліції ще одну заяву про безчинства «активістів»
According to the Criminal Code, offenses committed by opponents of the UOC near the Kншv Pechersk Lavra threaten them with imprisonment for up to two years.

On September 18, 2023, Dmytro Tsvetov, the lawyer for the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, filed a complaint with the Pechersk Police Department regarding another violation of the law committed by a group of "activists" near the monastery. This information was reported by the Telegram channel "Pershy Kozatsky".
The statement highlights that during a prayer service near the church dedicated to St. Sergius of Radonezh, about 15 people used megaphones to loudly shout insults against the Church and the religious beliefs of the faithful.
According to the lawyer, the actions of these hooligans may qualify as a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 180 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unlawful obstruction of a religious ceremony that disrupted or threatened to disrupt the religious ceremony). The article stipulates penalties, including fines of up to three thousand non-taxable minimum incomes, community service for 120 to 240 hours, arrest for up to six months, restriction of liberty for up to two years, or imprisonment for the same term.
Previously, Dmytro Tsvetov had filed complaints with the police regarding an attempt to disrupt a prayer vigil near the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra on September 13, 2023, and the use of pepper spray against a participant in the religious service. Since the Pechersk Police Department did not promptly include information about the offenses in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations, the lawyer turned to the Pechersk District Court.
It was also reported that lawyer and priest Nikita Chekman stated that Lavra's attorneys would be present at the monastery's prayer services every day and would respond to violations committed against the faithful by opponents of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

🇬🇧Court sentences man who killed his acquaintance for "supporting UOC" 🇺🇦Суд засудив чоловіка, який убив свого знайомого за підтримку УПЦ
The court sentenced a man who killed his acquaintance in March 2022 for "support and justification of the UOC".

The Ivano-Frankivsk City Court sentenced a resident of the Carpathian region to 9 years in prison for the murder of a 66-year-old man because of a religious conflict, reports "Zahid. Net" with reference to the court decision.
According to the investigation, on the day of the murder, the men communicated on religious topics, in particular during the conversation the victim justified the activities of the UOC. After that, the man killed his acquaintance, giving him numerous blows on the body with a log, a board and a metal scoop.
In addition, during the pre-trial investigation, the man confessed to committing the murder. However, he later said that he did it under pressure from law enforcers.
As reported, the leader of S14, Yevhen Karas, called on radicals to attack UOC believers in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in groups.

On September 15, at the call of Gafyuk Vladimir Grigoryevich, the headman of the Milievo community district, a group of about 20 OCU supporters, came to the UOC temple in honor of Venerable Iov Pochaevsky, in village of Milievo and broke the frame of the future dome for this temple.

Probably, only atheists can do such things.

A group of people was led by the village headman Vladimir Gafyuk himself and accompanied by the police.

The police did not prevent criminals from committing lawlessness.

Vladimir Grigorievich published a call to crime in the Viber community of Milievo village.

= > We remind that on the night of April 24 this temple was burned down by criminals.

More than half a year, renewable work has been doing.

But, as you can see, neighbours help.....
