[EN] Interesting data about Armenia, outside Armenia. The ArcGIS service (ESRI company) provides search for maps, map layers, scenes, data files and other geospatial resources on its website [1]. More than 1855 resources are available and ready for reuse, most of them are free.
The only problem is that Armenia is also a district of Colombia, a Latin American state, and some maps are about Armenia in Colombia, not Armenia as a country. But it's pretty easy to distinguish between the two.😉

- портал Центра экологических исследований РАН Армении [2]

[EN] We are working on the creation of a public geoportal of Armenia where it would be possible to visually look at open geodata, download them, compare them, make visualizations. And for this purpose we are collecting publicly available geodata.

Для тех кто ищет данные об Армении в мире, обновился поисковый индекс проекта Dateno [1] и теперь он включает более 25 тысяч наборов данных о стране, большая часть данных это статистические индикаторы Всемирного банка, ВТО, Банка международных расчётов и других. А также иные статистические показатели и геоданные.
Ещё можно найти немало датасетов с упоминанием Еревана [2] как крупнейшего города страны
А также тысячи наборов данных доступны при поиске по слову Armenia [3], но иногда возникают пересечения с одноимённым городом в Колумбии [4]🇨🇴
Dateno доступен через веб интерфейс и через API, получить ключ можно после регистрации и проверить его с помощью утилиты командной строки [5].
P.S. Основатели Open Data Armenia также являются основателями Dateno, данные по Армении можно будет использовать на хакатонах по открытым данным, а самые интересные датасеты мы будем копировать на портал открытых данных Open Data Armenia.

[EN] Armenian Points of interests (POI) data from Foursquare OS Places [1] is a new dataset in the Open Data Armenia data catalogue. This data is extracted from the huge OS Places dataset previously published by Foursquare [2].
The dataset contains just under 16 thousand locations across the country, most of the place names are in English, Russian and Armenian. The most places are marked in Yerevan, but not only.
Data in Parquet format is a special format for data popular in Data Science, it is most convenient to work with it using such tools as DuckDB, Pandas and Polars.
If someone needs this data in other formats, please write, we will add it.

Данные в формате Parquet, это специальный формат для данных популярный в Data Science, с ним удобнее всего работать с помощью таких инструментов как DuckDB, Pandas и Polars.
