πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡²πŸ‡½Toronto.- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Saturday that Canada and Mexico are working together to combat the 25% tariffs that the United States has imposed on the two countries. He announced that his government will impose 25% tariffs on US imports worth $155 billion in retaliation.
Trudeau revealed that he spoke with the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, shortly after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, signed the decrees with which, starting on Tuesday, he will tax imports from the two countries at 25%.

Meanwhile, David Eby, the Premier of British Columbia, has imposed sanctions on the US. Yes, you heard that right, Canada is sanctioning the US. For starters, no liquor will be bought in US red states and British Columbia's government will exclude US products from purchase.
Judging from his address, British Columbia is in crisis mode.

However, the main question is, how is all this even compatible with the USMCA?

Now, the only way for the Western part of Canada to get oil to the Eastern part of Canada is to send it through America.
In addition, Canada is more depending economically on being able to export oil to the US, than the US is on importing oil from Canada. As the video explains, Canada cannot refine that type of raw oil, and sells it to the US at a discount which can refine it.
