While in Hanoi, the President will meet with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Tnanh Man

The President is expected to discuss the current state and future development of Russia and Vietnam’s comprehensive strategic partnership in trade, the economy, science and technology, and culture, as well as the current issues of international and regional policy.

Following the talks, a joint statement will be adopted and a number of bilateral documents will be signed.
