Some claim that Ukraine is a Christian Orthodox nation, therefore they would never attack priests and burn down cathedrals and historic holy places.

Ukraine has been re-educated by a web of western NGOs and lobbyists for the past 30 years of their "independence" to make sure that there would be nothing connecting the two nations; Russia and Ukraine, especially something as powerful as religion and language.

A new religion of neo-paganism has been adopted, with Thor and Odin-like characters, a religion that would fit the framework of "returning to the roots" and "purity of Aryan blood" notion more accurately..

Therefore we should not be surprised when we find them mocking Christianity and worshipping wooden "Perun" statues in their kitchens.

Found some peculiar examples of how Ukrainian nationalism was attempted to be used against the Soviet Union by the Hitlers Germany and Japan during the second world war in https://yangx.top/pezdicide/1646 and https://yangx.top/pl_syrenka/3275 groups, who used historic archives for their conclusions.

According to the archives, the territory of occupied Manchuria was planned by the Japanese intelligence, to be used as a foothold for Ukrainian nationalists to influence and muddle the Soviet Union’s population of the far east that largely consisted of the settlers from the territories of modern Ukraine who were given lands and benefits to develop the far east of the Russian Empire during the years of Stolypin’s reforms.

The Japanese military intelligence created the “Ukrainian National Colony” (UNK), which included: the remnants of Petlyura’s gangs, (those who fought against Soviets during the civil war), as well as those Ukrainians who were forced out of Poland in the 1920s.

The Japanese military intelligence also coordinated, financed and provided the organization with money, facilities such as the “Ukrainian House”, and even published a journal called “Distant Skhid”.

(By the way, the articles of this newspaper often quoted the speeches of Adolf Hitler.)

The purpose of this "social support" and "education of nationally conscious people” was to organize the ethnic Ukrainian population in Primorye and the Amur Region against the Soviet Union in an event of a war with Japan.

This ridiculous plan was doomed for failure from the start but was still implemented by the Japanese as cheap instrument to create mayhem on the territory of their enemy.

(Doesn’t that sound familiar?)

After Japan used up their Ukrainian henchmen to the full extent, they then concluded a Neutrality Pact with the USSR, and helped all the Ukrainians to flee to Australia.

The Japanese authorities used Ukrainian radicals to achieve their own goals and never considered them a valuable resource: White Ukrainians did not really fit into the concept of "Asia for the Asians", according to which the migration of the Slavic population from Europe to the east was reprehensible.

Tokyo's plans did not even include the creation of a "Green Wedge" or any Ukrainian autonomy: they simply used the aggressive masses as a mean to achieve their own goals.

History repeats itself, and petty Ukrainian nationalists are being used again by the big players.

Sergey says at first Donbass people didn’t want to separate: ‘We wanted to be recognised as a constituent part of Ukraine. That we’d be a republic within Ukraine’.
