"Russia to the world. The world to Russia": achievements of Russian and foreign scientists will be presented at the WYF–2024

Participants of the World Youth Festival will become visitors of the multimedia space "Russia to the World. The world to Russia." They will not only learn about the achievements of Russian scientists and the importance of their discoveries for world civilization but also get acquainted with the contribution of foreign discoverers, writers, and developers to Russian history.

The exhibition will showcase achievements in space, science, medicine, culture, geography, economics, education, sports, IT technologies, media, ecology, politics, and other fields. The exposition will include 48 interactive displays — with their help, the Festival guests will get acquainted with outstanding personalities of world history in six languages, including Russian, English, Chinese, French, Arabic, and Spanish.

The center of the exhibition will be a multimedia cube, on the three-meter faces of which video content about the participants of the WYF–2024, their achievements, and contributions to science and culture will be updated every minute.

"The world's first airplane and helicopter, a heat engine, a nuclear power plant, a gasoline engine, a submarine with an electric motor, jet and supersonic passenger planes, space explorers, the world's first lung transplant and the first model of an artificial heart are all of us… And the list can be continued indefinitely in all areas, since this is only a small part of what the world owes to our country. The main task of the exhibition is "Russia to the world. The world to Russia" — to create a positive image of Russia by showing the guests and participants of the Festival the contribution of our country to world science, medicine, geography, history, culture, as well as the contribution of foreigners to the development of Russia," said the head of the historical park "Russia — My History" Ivan Yesin.

The exhibition was prepared by the National Foundation for the Development of Humanitarian Knowledge «Perspektiva» with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives with the participation of experts from the «Russia — My History» project.
