@shashj If Russia had started this war during last year's buildup, Ukraine would have had far fewer Javelins, NLAWs, and other weapons. And if it had done this in 2020 or earlier, Ukraine would have lacked a strong anti-ship capability.

In hindsight, the spring buildup was a significant strategic mistake for Russia. Instead of deterring NATO def cooperation with Ukraine or getting NATO to push Kyiv on the Minsk accords, NATO increased arms deliveries. The NLAWs, Javelins, intel sharing, etc. have been critical.
