First the barrel is decades old and inaccurate, and not guided it's shooting a bullet at a plane. That's how old Russian air defense works and they never hit anything down. MANPADS are a lot better🇺🇦

Saying that doesn't provide your point. Drones can be shot down using manpads and electronic warfare. Especially the Russian ones.🇺🇦

@oopsthatsbroken @Xrizz4242 @MriyaReport We don't know how effective 1960s Gepard is against Orlan-10 drones or if they’re more effective than electronic warfare. I have a friend in Ukriane who is a drone operator in the military, I'll talk to him and ask about how they shoot down the different types of Russian drones.

Because they didn't prepare for the war and needed lots of military equipment as soon as possible to defend the country from falling. In March, Russia had lots of Planes and drones deep in Ukraine’s airspace now it's a lot less dense.

Those aren't that hard for Ukraine to shoot down especially when US has systems to down them, but we are talking about military drones that are 100,000 and millions of dollars.🇺🇦

@oopsthatsbroken @Xrizz4242 @MriyaReport It's a different type of system, when there are 3 planes and 4 drones flying within 30km a guided missile system and manpad is needed. But when there’s 20 planes and 30 drones flying around one city like in Kyiv in February and March. A Gepard system with bullets could be used.🇺🇦

I see your points, I will talk someone who flies drones in Ukraine everyday. I am doing a map right now which I don't have much time to make.🇺🇦
