It will be interesting to see what decisions crypto-projects that used their tokens as a payment method in bots and mini-apps will make. Many have started moving the monetization section to the web outside of Telegram, but this is a temporary solution. They will have to accept the new rules in any case.
If seamless conversion from tokens to Stars at the point of payment is not devised, many tokens will lose value due to their ineffectiveness.
