«Так называемый план Б. Огромная группа Вооружённых сил Украины, которая дислоцировалась к тому моменту, к середине февраля, на линии соприкосновения с Донбассом, — она планировала просто силой захватить эти территории».

По словам министра, это было бы грубейшим нарушением минских договорённостей и резолюции Совбеза ООН, которое Запад «проглотил бы», «как он проглатывал полное пренебрежение прежними договорённостями в ходе предыдущих восьми лет».

«Запад призвал нанести России поражение на поле боя, а для этого нужно войну продолжать, нужно накачивать вооружениями украинских националистов, украинский режим, в том числе вооружениями, которые могут уже доставать РФ. Именно таких вооружений требует Зеленский публично. И мы предостерегли Запад самым серьёзным образом».

Министр выразил надежду, что здравые умы на Западе, которых «там ещё немножко осталось, понимают это».
