Expect to see more of this in the future. As projects die off or become illiquid, they'll be more scrope for arrangements like this, where a seperate entity comes in and "buys" the project, giving the new acquirer the ability to mess with the token supply and holders of the acquired project.

We're following this one as they sucked in EDGE (formally DADI) as part of their inital round of M&A's.

EDGE along with four other projects is now part of the TNC ecosystem....This means EDGE token holders will be issued TNC tokens at an 11:1 ratio (i.e 100K EDGE tokens = 1.1M TNC)

Before EDGE was delisted it was around 2c a coin. TNC is currently trading at 0.25c.

A purchase of 100K of EDGE coins prior to delist would of set you back around 2K USD. On paper, this EDGE now swapped to TNC is worth $282K USD.

Of course by the time you're able to selll these, it will most likely be much less, however it's an example of the value (or lack thereof) that token holders of previous projects can see under a crypto M&A structure.

Of course, past the pure financials for token holders, it will be interesting to see it all play out. How a project can suck in five other projects and make a complementary ecosystem in which all projects can work in harmony sounds more difficult in practice than it does theory, however this will form somewhat of a guide or playbook as to how these sorts of arrangements will play out in the future...
