President Bashar al-Assad held discussions with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani. The focus of the talks was the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and ways to support and assist the people of the Gaza Strip.

President Al-Assad attached great importance to the need to work on securing protection for the Palestinian people and stop crimes and massacres against all Palestinians.

His Excellency also held discussions with Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi which also addressed the conditions that the people of Gaza are experiencing in light of the Israeli aggression against the Strip.

The two presidents stressed the need to accelerate the provision of all immediate aid in parallel with the Arab and Islamic countries exercising all means of pressure to force the Israeli entity to stop its massacres and aggression.
