A joint statement issued by the meeting of Foreign Minister, Dr. Fayssal #Mikdad, and Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdullah Bou #Habib: Syria and Lebanon condemn the systematic Israeli aggression against Palestinian people and affirm the need to stop it immediately and put an end to the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Israeli entity

The Joint Statement: #Mikdad noted the measures taken by the Syrian government over the past years and recently to restore security and stability and facilitate the return of Syrians to their homeland, stressing that Syria welcomes all its people and looks forward to their return, and is making every effort in cooperation with friendly countries and partners in humanitarian work to achieve this

The Statement: Bou #Habib expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts and measures taken by the Syrian government. It was agreed to hold subsequent coordination meetings at the level of officials and specialized experts to follow up on issues related to the return of displaced persons, border control, the exchange of extradition of judicial convicts, and other issues of common interest
