Foreign Ministry: Syria has followed the positive trends and interactions currently taking place in the Arab region, which it believes are in the interest of all Arab countries to achieve stability, security and prosperity for their peoples

🇸🇾 Syria resumes participation in the Arab League

Key points of the statement of the Council of the League of Arab held at the ministerial level:

◾️ Reiterate the commitment to the sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability of Syria.

◾️ Intensify Arab efforts aimed at helping Syria emerge from its crisis and end the suffering of its people.

◾️ Welcome the Arab statements issued by the Jedah meeting on Syria on April 14, 2023 and the Amman meeting on Syria on May 1, 2023.

◾️ Express enthusiasm for assuming a pioneering Arab role in efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis, which resolves all the consequences of the humanitarian, security and political crisis in Syria.

◾️ Take practical and effective measures to resolve the crisis gradually according to the "step by step" principle and in line with Security Council Resolution No. 2254.
