🚀 Spacecraft “Soyuz-2.1b” with satillites “Ionosfera-M” has been installed on the launch pad at Vostochny cosmodrome.

The morning in the "space heart" of the Amur taiga began with the verticalization of the rocket. Roscosmos specialists continue to prepare it for launch that will take place on 5 Nov 2024.

🌐 Satellites “Iobosfera-M” are part of the Ionosonde project to monitor near-Earth space and research ionospheric plasma and wave processes in it.

🚀 Soyuz-2.1b rocket blasted off from Vostochny Cosmodrome carrying a pair of Ionosphere-M heliogeophysical satellites and 53 other Russian and foreign satellites.

Nine minutes and 24 seconds after liftoff, the Fregat upper stage with the satellites was placed into low-Earth orbit.

🌠 Another minute later, Fregat activated its main engine to insert the devices into orbit.

🚀 The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket for the Progress MS-29 has been assembled and installed on the launch pad of the Baikonur cosmodrome.

The Progress MS-29 will deliver to the International Space Station (ISS) about 2,500 tons of cargoes, including 869 kilograms of fuel in refueling system reservoirs, 420 kilograms of drinking water, and 43 kilograms of pressurized nitrogen. Apart from that, it will carry equipment and material for space experiments.

🛰 The launch is to take place at 3:22 p.m. Moscow time (12:22 a.m. GMT) on Nov 21.
