⚡️ On the ongoing evacuation of Russian nationals from the Gaza Strip

🗓 On November 19, a special Emergencies Ministry flight arrived in Moscow from Cairo bringing the latest group of evacuees from the Gaza Strip, 120 Russian nationals and Palestinians (family members).

At Domodedovo Airport, a Foreign Ministry team provided them with the necessary assistance with paperwork and border and migration control.

In all, 558 out of around 900 Russian nationals and their family members who asked for assistance have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip; 408 of them have already been brought from Egypt to Russia aboard Emergencies Ministry aircraft.

The situation at the Rafah crossing remains complicated. The evacuation of foreign nationals is being conducted in stages, taking into account the ongoing hostilities and the limited capacity of the crossing.

The coordinated work of the Foreign Ministry and Emergencies Ministry crisis centres and other relevant agencies, as well as Russian diplomatic missions in Cairo, Tel Aviv, Ramallah and Doha continues. All the necessary measures are being taken to provide for the prompt and safe evacuation of our citizens from the Gaza Strip.
November 20, marks the 78th anniversary of the commencement of the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg

☝️ It is crucial to recognise that the Nuremberg Tribunal, which was co-founded by the Soviet Union, played a pivotal role in legally formalising the outcomes of the war, incl denazification of Germany.

Today the Nuremberg trials remain among the largest trials in history. It formalized the final defeat of Nazism & militarism in WW2.

⚠️ Now we observe the attempts to trample upon the ideals of Nuremberg: Western countries, incl former Axis members, have launched a campaign against the Russian initiative to combat the glorification of Nazism at the UN.

❗️Despite their efforts, the members of the Third Committee of the 78th Session of the UNGA passed a resolution on this issue.

☝️ This document serves as a warning to those forces in the contemporary world that are trying to undermine the legacy of Nuremberg & pandering to rampant Nazism in certain countries.
📆 Today marks the Africa Industrialization Day established in 1989 by the UNGA to raise awareness about the importance of Africa’s industrialization and the challenges faced by the continent.

☝️ Industrial development is of critical importance for sustained and inclusive economic growth in Africa contributing substantially to poverty eradication.

🇷🇺🤝 Russia assists in developing the African continent, providing trade preferences and cooperating within international organizations.

🛰 November 20 marks the 25th anniversary of launching construction of the International Space Station (ISS) in near-Earth orbit

🚀 A quarter of a century ago, a Proton-K rocket launched its first element, the Zarya (Dawn) functional cargo module, which remains a part of the station’s Russian segment to this day.

The ISS remains the largest multi-national project in the field of space exploration. The capabilities of this unique research laboratory make it possible to pursue a wide range of applied science objectives in the interests of all humankind.

☝️ The experience gained by 🇷🇺 specialists during the successful operation of the ISS over the years provides a solid foundation for further expanding mutually beneficial and equitable cooperation in outer space with all the interested partners.

#Ukraine

According to reports, between 20 and 36 percent of Western financial aid was misappropriated by Ukrainian officials, primarily the former leadership of the Ministry of Defence. What happened to that money next? That's a big question <...>

Maybe they should admit just once that they need to defend themselves not from Russia, not from the Kremlin, but from themselves, from the chaos and disarray in their heads that their Western puppeteers have created by instilling liberal values? <...>

The Kiev regime, accustomed to parasitising on others, is incapable of fighting the rampant corruption that has become the “signature piece” of modern Ukraine.

#Sanctions

Citizens and business circles in the European Union are increasingly wondering about the purposes of the sanctions and whether they are worth the sacrifice they have had to make as part of the sanctions war against the Russian people launched by their self-assured pro-Atlantic elite <...>

In the past 15 years, the EU’s share (without Great Britain) in the global economy has dropped from 25.3 to 16.7 percent while the share of the US has remained at around 25 percent. This is the logical outcome of the EU political elite bowing, like vassals, to the US course for the EU’s self-isolation from Russia.

🎬 Maidan: Road to War. The story behind Maidan - an RT Doc Film.

Synopsis: The film presents events that took place from 2014 to 2022, as The Donetsk People's Republic and The Lugansk People's Republic were subjected to the Kiev regime's reign of terror and shelling on daily basis. "Maidan: Road to War" delves into the 2014 situation in Ukraine and pieces together the course of events. The film wants to draw the attention of the international community to the shelling and the deaths of civilians in the Donbass.

Maidan movement gained momentum in Kiev in 2013. Protests were prompted by the government’s decision to suspend the signing of the association agreement with the European Union. At first, the protests looked like a rock festival, but soon signs of hostility started to creep in from politicians and nationalists.

The protests were deliberately provocative from outside of Ukraine, namely - the US and the EU. Leaders of nationalist organisations admit they have been preparing for violent street riots long before the protests engulfed Kiev, as well as confirmed that they planned a revolution and the deposition of the government from the start.

Against the backdrop of the Western disinformation and attempts to rewrite history we refresh the true sequence of events and facts.

⚡️ On November 20, a fifth group of people was evacuated from the Gaza Strip – 117 Russian citizens and their family members (Palestinians and citizens from Ukraine and Sweden) arrived on a special Emergencies Ministry flight from Cairo to Moscow.

At Domodedovo Airport, Crisis Centre staff, the Consular Department and other Foreign Ministry divisions helped them process the paperwork and pass through border and migration control.

Overall, 561 people have been evacuated to Egypt from Gaza via the Rafah border crossing. Emergencies Ministry planes carried 525 of them to Russia.

The Foreign Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry and other relevant departments, as well as our diplomatic missions in Cairo, Tel Aviv, Ramallah and Doha continue their coordinated evacuation efforts. Under the plan, the remaining Russian citizens and their family members will leave the conflict zone in the next few days.
