⭕️Read extracts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Maxim Buyakevich “On ongoing crimes by Ukraine against civilian population with the support of Western alliance of OSCE participating States”, (meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 12 may 2022):
📃On 9 May for the first time in several years people in DPR & LPR cities liberated from Ukrainian neo-Nazis, and in south & east of Ukraine were able to take part in peaceful actions on occasion of 77th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War
👉🏻Despite intensified imposing over several years of the cult of new “heroes” from among Ukrainian Nazi collaborators, attempts to rewrite history are strongly rejected, first of all, by redidents of 🇺🇦 Ukraine itself
❗️In the territories controlled by the Kiev regime the authorities as previously tried to prevent people from taking part in peaceful marches on occasion of Victory Day & Ukrainian armed formations increased shelling of residential areas in DPR & LPR with heavy weapons
❗️We regret that Washington, London & a number of European capitals openly support those who adhere to ideas of aggressive nationalism, neo-Nazism and xenophobia in Ukraine. 77 years ago together with Moscow these capitals opposed spread of Nazism across Europe

"We are outraged by the decision of the Latvian Saeima to unilaterally suspend Article 13 of the Russian-Latvian Intergovernmental Agreement of April 30, 1994, which prescribes the Latvian Side to protect, maintain and take care of memorials.
This traitorous, unjustified step has neither moral nor legal grounds and constitutes a flagrant violation of the universally recognized principles and norms of international law, including the provisions of this very treaty.
Judge yourself.
Article 15 of the Agreement obliges the Parties to refrain from taking any uncoordinated unilateral actions on issues regulated by this document. The same Article clearly states that the Agreement will remain in effect until amended or terminated with the consent of the Parties.
It is worth noting that no one has held any consultations with us on this issue, not a hint of it.
Another reliable document is the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties of 1969. Article 42 states: the termination of an international treaty, its denunciation or withdrawal of a party may take place only in conformity with the provisions of the treaty or the Vienna Convention.
This situation clearly demonstrates for the entire responsible international community the true face of the political elite of modern Latvia: cynicism, double standards, a complete rejection of civilized ways of settling interstate issues and brazen disregard for the fundamental principles of international law.
In Latvia, the problem of settling the score with one's own historical past is looming large.
The Embassy has already sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, in which it expressed its strong protest in connection with the wrongful acts of the Saeima".

Продолжено обсуждение ситуации на Украине с акцентом на гуманитарные аспекты.
🔹Владимир Путин подробно изложил логику и основные задачи специальной военной операции по защите народных республик Донбасса, рассказал о предпринимаемых мерах по обеспечению безопасности мирных жителей.
🔹Было также упомянуто, что при участии представителей ООН и Международного комитета Красного Креста осуществлена эвакуация гражданских лиц, которые удерживались украинскими силовиками на мариупольском заводе «Азовсталь».

➖New reason for a surge of Russophobia in a number of EU member states was the celebration of the Victory Day on 9 May. Most civilized nations were able to provide security for commemoration events and peaceful marches, as well as flower laying
➖Exception is Poland, where a barbaric provocation took place. Russian Ambassador in that country, who had come to honor the memory of Soviet soldiers heroically killed during the liberation of Warsaw from the Nazis, was attacked
➖Self-exclusion of law enforcement agencies and attempts to justify provocative violence raise doubts about the ability of official Warsaw to provide adequate security for accredited diplomats and participants of international events
➖Russophobia does not only occur in Western OSCE pS; the EU is actively helping other countries to nurture it. For example, Ukraine, which has been under external control of Western countries since February 2014

Key takeaways from todays’ UN Security Council meeting on US biolabs in Ukraine:
1. The US refuses to explain its engagement in military bio activities in Ukraine. Keeps shrugging off several hundred pages of evidence. “These are all lies and Russia’s propaganda, and we are good guys because it can’t be otherwise”. Not a word on the point of discussion.
2. Western delegations are praising the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and calling on us to make use of its mechanisms. They fail to mention however that it is the US who is blocking the elaboration of BWC verification mechanism. Such a hypocricy!
3. The US refuses to explain why it doesn’t want an effective international verification mechanism for bio weapons. Why act like this unless you are trying to conceal something? Why does Washington position itself above the international law? American exceptionalism at its best.
Main conclusion: we have definitely hit their soft spot. It’s clear for any unbiased observer that they are obscuring the issue and trying to divert attention from this uncomfortable topic trying to discourage us to raise it by repeating mantras on “Russian aggression” etc.
So stay tuned, there’s more evidence on US military biological programs to follow!

🇷🇺🇫🇮📞 Russia's President Vladimir #Putin had a telephone conversation with Finland President Sauli #Niinistö at the Finnish side’s initiative.
Heads of the two counties had a sincere exchange of views over the announced decision by Finland’s leadership to apply for #NATO membership.
❗️ Vladimir Putin stressed that rejecting the traditional policy of military neutrality would be wrong since there are no threats to Finland’s security.
Such a change in the country’s foreign policy course could have a negative effect on Russia-Finland relations, which have been built over the course of many years in the spirit of neighbourliness and partnership cooperation.
The Presidents also discussed the situation in #Ukraine. In particular, Vladimir Putin shared his opinion of the state of the negotiating process between Russian and Ukrainian representatives. This process has been practically put on hold by #Kiev, which does not show any interest in a serious and constructive dialogue.

This will be facilitated by today’s decision to consider in practical terms the CIS’s request to the Collective Security Treaty Organisation to grant it observer status at the #CSTO.
🇦🇫 Obviously, #Afghanistan needs to be rebuilt. We must not let the situation collapse and destabilise again. It would be hard on the Afghan people who had been suffering under NATO’s presence for twenty years.

Key takeaways from todays’ UN Security Council meeting on US biolabs in Ukraine:
1. The US refuses to explain its engagement in military bio activities in Ukraine. Keeps shrugging off several hundred pages of evidence. “These are all lies and Russia’s propaganda, and we are good guys because it can’t be otherwise”. Not a word on the point of discussion.
2. Western delegations are praising the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and calling on us to make use of its mechanisms. They fail to mention however that it is the US who is blocking the elaboration of BWC verification mechanism. Such a hypocricy!
3. The US refuses to explain why it doesn’t want an effective international verification mechanism for bio weapons. Why act like this unless you are trying to conceal something? Why does Washington position itself above the international law? American exceptionalism at its best.
Main conclusion: we have definitely hit their soft spot. It’s clear for any unbiased observer that they are obscuring the issue and trying to divert attention from this uncomfortable topic trying to discourage us to raise it by repeating mantras on “Russian aggression” etc.
So stay tuned, there’s more evidence on US military biological programs to follow!
