🇺🇸 The human rights situation in the United States is far from international standards for the protection of fundamental freedoms.
The US continues to flagrantly violate human rights within its borders as well as abroad by, for instance, imposing unlawful unilateral coercive measures (sanctions), the most glaring example of which is its economic blockade of Cuba for more than a decade.
It is also important to mention blatant violations of the international humanitarian law committed by US authorities in third nations. Under the "traditional" pretext of the need to combat terrorism, Washington has continued to indiscriminately use military force. As a result, the casualties among civilians have increased.
☝️ The US actively uses the human rights rhetoric to justify interference in the internal affairs of sovereign nations and impose illegal sanctions against them. It has become common practice for the US State Department to release biased reports on the state of human rights in Russia and other undesirable countries, which are used to validate pressure on them.
Washington applies the principle of the extraterritoriality of the US justice and uses it to prey on citizens of sovereign States in flagrant violation of their national legislation.
The Americans are hunting not only Russians, but also citizens of other countries, who are often held without trial in CIA "secret prisons", where they are tortured and humiliated.
Immigrants and inmates, including minors, face constant repression of freedoms in the US. Journalists do not feel safe and become victims of attacks. Citizens' dissatisfaction with voting rights violations has only deepened the divisions in the American society. Alternative opinions have become increasingly censored in social media.
🤦 Despite all the above facts, the US continues to declare itself a global leader in human rights protection. However, Washington is in no hurry to expand its international legal commitments in this area.

Almost a year ago, on July 22, 2022, two interrelated agreements were signed in Istanbul, namely, the Black Sea Initiative on Ukrainian food and Russian ammonia exports and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Russian Federation and the Secretariat of the United Nations on promoting Russian food products and fertilisers to the world markets.
A year later now, progress on implementing these agreements has been disappointing.
The Black Sea Initiative was launched just a week after it was signed. However, contrary to the purported humanitarian objectives, the Ukrainian food exports were almost immediately transacted on a purely commercial basis and, until the last moment, were used to serve Kiev and its Western curators’ self-serving interests.
The Russia-UN Memorandum has never really worked. The Americans and the British are keeping pace as they impose extraterritorial restrictions. As a result, Russian bank payments, insurance and transport logistics, as well as spare parts supplies and foreign assets have been completely blocked.
We are forced to state that none of the five systematic objectives stipulated in the Russia-UN Memorandum has been accomplished.
❗️ The blatant sabotage of the Istanbul agreements defeats the purpose of continuing the Black Sea Initiative which did not live up to its humanitarian rationale.
👉 In accordance with paragraph H of the agreement, Russia objects to an extension <...> This means:
• revoking safe navigation guarantees,
• curtailing the maritime humanitarian corridor,
• resuming the status of a temporarily dangerous area in the northwestern Black Sea,
• disbanding the JCC in Istanbul.
Without Russia, the Black Sea Initiative will cease to operate as of July 18.
☝️ Once concrete results rather than promises and assurances are in place, Russia will be ready to consider resuming the deal.

⚡️ В связи с прекращением функционирования «черноморской инициативы» и сворачиванием морского гуманитарного коридора, с 00.00 московского времени 20 июля 2023 года все суда, следующие в акватории Черного моря в украинские порты, будут рассматриваться как потенциальные перевозчики грузов военного назначения.
▫️ Соответственно, страны флага таких судов будут считаться вовлеченными в украинский конфликт на стороне киевского режима.
▫️ Кроме того, ряд морских районов в северо-западной и юго-восточной частях международных вод Черного моря объявлены временно опасными для судоходства. Соответствующие информационные предупреждения об отзыве гарантий безопасности мореплавателям изданы в установленном порядке.

⚡️ In connection with the cessation of the functioning of the Black Sea Grain Initiative and the сlosing of the maritime humanitarian corridor, from 00.00 Moscow time on 20 July 2023, all vessels sailing in the waters of the Black Sea to Ukrainian ports will be regarded as potential carriers of military cargo.
▫️ Accordingly, the countries of such vessels will be considered to be involved in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of the Kiev regime.
▫️ In addition, a number of sea areas in the north-western and south-eastern parts of the international waters of the Black Sea have been declared temporarily dangerous for navigation. Corresponding information warnings on the withdrawal of safety guarantees to mariners have been issued in accordance with the established procedure.

🇬🇧 The UK has positioned itself as a benchmark in the promotion and protection of human rights in seeking to mask the significant problems that exist in this area.
London largely prefers to ignore the painful issue of neo-Nazi groups being active in the country. Although they are mostly marginal and focus on online activities, there is a growing trend towards the popularity of far-right ideology, especially among young people. The latter was recognized to be a serious terrorist threat.
At the same time as extreme right-wing attitudes are becoming increasingly widespread in the population, the rights of ethnic minorities are becoming a pressing issue in the country. People of African and Asian descent, Roma and other ethnic communities continued to face exclusion and were subject to negative stereotypes and stigmatisation in the media.
Racial inequality in the UK is "systemic" and the authorities' measures essentially fail to address the true social and economic causes of the alarming situation. Non-White Britons continue to be "disproportionately targeted throughout the criminal justice system". <...>
✍️ The destiny of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange remains a high-profile case in the context of the violation of the human right to freedom of opinion and expression. The political implications behind the ongoing criminal proceedings against him are obvious. There remains a serious risk of gross violations of his rights should he be extradited to the US. <...>
The UK Ministry of Defence's policy of "exonerating" British servicemen who may have been involved in committing crimes while fighting in other countries continues. In April 2021, the Overseas Operations Act came into force, aimed at protecting servicemen from prosecution for crimes committed during overseas campaigns.
☝️ The failure of the UK authorities to conduct independent investigations into torture during the military campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq has been the subject of repeated criticism by international human rights bodies.

💬 Киевский режим продолжает практику преступного террора.
В результате артиллерийского удара кассетными боеприпасами со стороны укронацистов по группе журналистов МИЦ «Известия» и информационного агентства РИА «Новости» сегодня прервалась жизнь журналиста Ростислава Журавлёва. Ещё три его коллеги, получившие осколочные ранения, в состоянии средней степени тяжести были доставлены в полевые медицинские учреждения Минобороны России. Им оказывается необходимая медицинская помощь.
❗️ Все указывает на то, что атака на журналистскую группу была осуществлена не случайно: корреспонденты собирали материалы для репортажа об обстрелах боевиками киевского режима населенных пунктов Запорожской области запрещенными во многих странах мира кассетными боеприпасами.
Теми, которые поставляют Киеву США. Вашингтон, а вместе с ним и Лондон с Парижем, снабжающие режим Зеленского ракетами дальнего радиуса действия, лишь на словах выражают обеспокоенность безопасностью журналистов, на деле же являются спонсорами террористов.
Не имеем никаких иллюзий в отношении того, что профильные международные структуры предпочтут, как и прежде в подобных случаях, закрыть глаза на это гнусное преступление, что, по сути, делает их соучастниками террористического беспредела Киева.
☝️ Виновные в жестокой расправе над российским журналистом неминуемо понесут заслуженное наказание. Всю меру ответственности разделят и те, кто поставлял своим киевским протеже кассетные боеприпасы.

💬 The Kiev regime continues its practice of criminal terror.
The life of journalist Rostislav Zhuravlyov ended today as a result of Ukrainian Nazis’ artillery strike using cluster munitions against a group of journalists from the Izvestia Information Centre and RIA Novosti news agency. Three of his colleagues received shrapnel wounds of moderate severity and were taken to Russian Defence Ministry field hospitals where they are receiving medical care.
❗️ Everything points to the fact that the attack on the group of journalists was not an accident: the correspondents were collecting materials for a report on Kiev regime militants shelling communities in the Zaporozhye Region with cluster munitions, which are banned in many countries.
The very same munitions that are supplied to Kiev by the United States. Washington, along with London and Paris, which supply the Zelensky regime with long-range missiles, profess their concern for the safety of journalists, but in fact they are sponsoring terrorists.
We have no illusions that specialised international organisations will choose to turn a blind eye to this heinous crime, as they did in similar cases before, which makes them accomplices in Kiev’s terrorist mayhem.
☝️ Those responsible for the brutal murder of the Russian journalist will inevitably suffer the punishment they deserve. The entire measure of responsibility will be shared by those who supplied cluster munitions to their Kiev protégés.

▫️ Все назначенные для поражения и уничтоженные ночью 23 июля т.г. объекты, где киевским режимом совместно с иностранными специалистами готовились террористические акты против Российской Федерации, располагались на безопасной дистанции от храмового комплекса.
▫️ Планирование ударов высокоточным оружием по объектам военной и террористической инфраструктуры киевского режима осуществляется на основе тщательно проверенной и подтвержденной по нескольким каналам информации заведомо исключая поражение гражданских объектов, где находится мирное население, а также объектов культурного и исторического наследия.
▫️ С учетом опубликованных местными жителями видеокадров из Спасо-Преображенского храма, наиболее вероятной причиной его разрушения стало падение украинской зенитной управляемой ракеты в результате безграмотных действий операторов комплексов ПВО, которые ВСУ намеренно располагают в жилых кварталах населенных пунктов, в том числе в городе Одесса.

💬 В.В.Путин: В начале беседы я бы хотел отметить, что все наши планы реализуются, причём даже лучшими темпами, чем мы с Вами ожидали.
Хочу отметить хорошее состояние экономики и России, и Белоруссии. Я посмотрел последние данные: по году в Белоруссии ожидается рост экономики – 3,7 процента. Это прогнозное значение, но тем не менее. У нас чуть пониже, могу сказать, но для нас это тоже хороший показатель, ‒ мы рассчитываем на более чем два процента роста. У вас дефицит минимальный – 0,4 процента. Это тоже очень хорошо. Международные резервы на достойном, очень хорошем уровне находятся. Безработица на низком уровне. В общем все основные показатели дают нам основания полагать, что этот год во всяком случае мы пройдём уверенно, спокойно и продемонстрируем хорошие показатели роста.
У нас целиком и полностью все планы реализуются на предмет строительства Союзного государства. Мы двигаемся уверенно по этим направлениям.
Растёт товарооборот. По разным данным он немножко разный, по нашим данным, если в долларовом эквиваленте говорить – где-то 43,7 [миллиарда], по белорусской статистике – почти 45.

Общественность стран, правительства которых посылают людей сегодня в зону боевых действий, тоже должна знать о том, что там происходит. И мы будем доводить это до людей с тем, чтобы они давали оценку действиям своих правителей.

▫️ All the facilities designated for defeat and destroyed on the night of 23 July this year, where the Kiev regime, together with foreign specialists, were preparing terrorist acts against the Russian Federation, were located at a safe distance from the Transfiguration Cathedral.
▫️ The planning of strikes with precision weapons against military and terrorist infrastructure facilities of the Kiev regime is carried out on the basis of information carefully checked and confirmed through several channels, knowingly excluding the civilian facilities, as well as cultural and historical heritage sites.
▫️ According to footage of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odessa published by local residents, the most probable cause of its destruction was the fall of a Ukrainian anti-aircraft guided missile as a result of the incompetent actions of the operators of air defence systems, which the AFU deliberately places in residential areas, including Odessa.
