⚡️ Press release on the Black Sea initiative for the export of Ukrainian food
The four-party deal by Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations, signed in Istanbul on July 22, will expire on November 18. The text of the document provides for its automatic extension for another 120 days in the absence of objections from any of the parties.
No such objections have been received.
The Russian side also allows for the technical extension of the Black Sea initiative without any changes in its terms or scope. Moscow has clearly and openly emphasised that the agreements on Ukrainian food and the effective implementation of the Russian-UN Memorandum on the normalisation of Russian agricultural exports is a package deal, and that remains unchanged.
We took note of the intensification of the UN Secretariat’s effort to fulfil its obligations in this regard and the information provided to us on the intermediate results of its work to remove obstacles to Russian fertiliser and food exports. All these issues must be resolved within 120 days, the period for which the package deal is to be extended.
We note that, after our repeated reminders, efforts have begun to be made towards unblocking the nearly 300,000 tonnes of Russian fertilisers detained in EU ports, which Russia is donating to developing countries in need. Further delay of these urgently needed shipments is unacceptable.
⚠️ It should also be absolutely clear that any attempt to use the humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea for military provocations will receive a harsh response.
We believe that Russia’s considerations and concerns will be fully taken into account in the coming period, which will ensure well-coordinated work without any imbalances and the due result achieved from the full implementation of both Istanbul agreements in the interests of global food security.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry Statement on the District Court of The Hague’s verdict on the MH17 criminal case
On November 17, the District Court of The Hague delivered a verdict to two Russian nationals, Igor Girkin and Sergey Dubinsky, and Ukrainian citizen Leonid Kharchenko, ruling that they were guilty of complicity in the crash of Malaysia Airlines MH17 in eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014. The defendants were given life sentences. A fourth defendant, Russian citizen Oleg Pulatov, was declared not guilty.

❗️ Both the proceedings and the outcome of the trial prove that the process was based on a political order to prop up the version of Russia’s responsibility for the tragedy.

Throughout the entire proceedings the court had been under unprecedented pressure from Dutch politicians, the Prosecutor’s Office and the media who were all trying to impose a politically motivated result on the hearings. It is also obvious that the Netherlands could not afford any verdict other than guilty at the national level since they had launched concurrent proceedings on the MH17 case in other platforms, and a ‘not guilty’ verdict would collapse the narrative of the collective platforms, including international jurisdictions. Objectivity and impartiality under these conditions were out of the question.
When determining the verdict, the court decided to ignore the fact that the conclusions of the Dutch prosecutors were based on evidence from anonymous witnesses whose identities had been classified, as well as questionable information and materials provided by an interested party – the Security Service of Ukraine, which had been repeatedly caught giving false and contradictory information.
☝️ In addition, the defence’s argument that there was no compelling evidence that MH17 was shot down by a Russian missile was ignored. Only the materials that supported the Hague-promoted version were analysed, while the documents, declassified by the Russian Defence Ministry, on transferring the missile to Ukraine, whose serial number was identified on the wreckage at the crash site, were brushed aside.

🛰 Images from US satellites taken on the day of the crash could have provided some clarity. However, Washington resolutely refused the judges’ requests to reveal the records or at least to let them look at them under special conditions.
It is still unclear what the most ardent accusers of Russia are concealing. The fact that this has never worried the judges is cause for sincere astonishment.

❗️ В социальных сетях широко разошлись видеокадры, на которых украинские военнослужащие безжалостно расстреливают безоружных российских военнопленных.
Этот шокирующий видеоряд является очередным доказательством преступлений украинских неонацистов, грубого нарушения Украиной международного гуманитарного права, в том числе Женевской конвенции об обращении с военнопленными 1949 г., и международных правозащитных норм, включая Международный пакт о гражданских и политических правах 1966 г. и Конвенцию против пыток и других жестоких, бесчеловечных или унижающих достоинство видов обращения и наказания 1984 г.
Мы неоднократно привлекали внимание международного сообщества к жестокому и бесчеловечному отношению украинской стороны к удерживаемым российским военнослужащим. На регулярно распространяемых самими же боевиками ВСУ роликах были запечатлены совершенные ими убийства, пытки, издевательства, избиения и т.п. <...>
Все эти многочисленные свидетельства преступлений были оставлены без внимания со стороны «коллективного Запада», во всем активно поддерживающего Киев. Подобное одобрение со стороны американских и европейских кураторов делает их соучастниками того, что творят пестуемые ими украинские неонацисты.
Причём речь идет не только о бойцах «Азова» и других радикальных организаций, а о военнослужащих вооруженных сил Украины, выполняющих официальные приказы своих командиров. Их приверженность неонацистской идеологии и воплощение её принципов на практике убедительно доказывают преступную суть существующего на Украине режима.
⚠️ Требуем от международных организаций осудить это вопиющее преступление, провести его тщательное расследование. These shocking videos are further evidence of the crimes committed by Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Ukraine is flagrantly violating international humanitarian law, specifically the 1949 Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War and international human rights laws, including the 1966 International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the 1984 Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
We have repeatedly drawn the attention of the international community to Ukraine’s cruel and inhuman treatment of detained Russian military personnel. Clips regularly disseminated by the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how they murder, torture, humiliate and beat people. Without any embarrassment, Ukrainian neo-Nazis showed their “exploits” for everyone to see. These videos will make your blood run cold – they shoot tied up soldiers in the legs, disrespect the bodies of the dead and shoot unarmed soldiers and civilians. They have even shared footage of tanks crushing people alive.
The collective West that supports Kiev totally paid no attention to these numerous facts. Such approval by the US and European curators makes them accomplices to the crimes committed by the Ukrainian neo-Nazis whom they foster.
This concerns not only Azov militants and other radical groups but also personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carrying out official orders of their commanders. Their commitment to neo-Nazi ideology and actions in furtherance of those principles reveal the criminal essence of the Kiev regime.
⚠️ We demand that international organisations condemn and thoroughly investigate this shocking crime. No atrocity committed by Ukrainian military units will remain unpunished.
All those guilty and their accomplices will be identified and punished accordingly.

⚡️Решение Польши, являющейся Действующим председателем ОБСЕ, отказать Министру иностранных дел Российской Федерации С.В.Лаврову в участии в заседании Совета министров иностранных дел (СМИД) ОБСЕ в г.Лодзь 1-2 декабря с.г. беспрецедентно и провокационно.
Оно несовместимо со статусом председателя Организации, в которой 57 стран участвуют в качестве суверенных и независимых государств в условиях полного равенства. Нарушены Правила процедуры ОБСЕ и решения её директивных органов, в частности решение СМИД ОБСЕ в Порту (2002 г.) о принципах работы Действующего председательства.

Стало ещё очевиднее, что ОБСЕ нужна ревнителям «порядка, основанного на правилах» не как возможность равноправного, уважительного диалога по серьезным вопросам евробезопасности, а прежде всего как площадка для политиканских шоу и антироссийских упражнений.

Убеждены, что все здравомыслящие политики разделяют позицию российской стороны о недопустимости подобных действий и дадут им принципиальную оценку. Соответствующий запрос был вчера направлен всем государствам-участникам ОБСЕ.
ℹ️ Российскую делегацию на СМИД ОБСЕ возглавит Постоянный представитель при ОБСЕ А.К.Лукашевич.

и Европейского союза правовые положения, Варшава поставила регламент ЕС выше обязательств ОБСЕ, являющейся на данный момент самой представительной общеевропейской организацией.
Убеждены, что все здравомыслящие политики разделяют позицию российской стороны о недопустимости подобных действий и дадут им принципиальную оценку. Соответствующий запрос был вчера направлен всем государствам-участникам ОБСЕ.

⚡️ The decision by Poland, as the current chair in the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), to bar Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov from the OSCE Minister Council due to take place in Łódź on December 1-2, 2022, is an unprecedented and inflammatory step.
⚠️ It is incompatible with the status of the chair in the organisation where 57 countries take part as sovereign and independent states under the conditions of full equality. This violates the OSCE Rules of Procedure and decisions of its policy-making bodies, in particular the decision of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Porto in 2002 on the role of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office.

During all of this year, instead working to strengthen the OSCE, Warsaw has persistently destroyed its foundations, has done everything in its power to erode the culture of consensus fundamental for the Organisation, and has launched dangerous centrifugal trends.
Thanks to the efforts of the chairing country, the policy-making bodies have been plunged into chaos. It has thereby demonstrated that it is totally incapable of holding such a responsible office.
Not only has Warsaw discredited itself, but it has dealt an irreparable blow to the authority of the entire Organisation.
❌ An unacceptable attack against Russia in the context of the OSCE is the culmination of Poland’s entire anti-chairmanship in the Organisation. <...>
Citing legal provisions valid in the Republic of Poland and the European Union, Warsaw has placed the EU regulations above the commitments of the OSCE, which is currently the most representative pan-European organisation.
We are convinced that all reasonable politicians share Russia’s position that such actions are unacceptable and will give them a principal assessment. A corresponding inquiry was distributed yesterday to all OSCE member states.
ℹ️ Russia’s Permanent Representative at the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich will head the Russian delegation at the OSCE Ministerial Council.

"Right after the celebration of the Independence Day of Latvia, residents of Sesava in the Jelgava region have discovered another act of vandalism committed on a fraternal military burial located in this settlement – the inscription "Glory to the Heroes" in Russian and Latvian has been torn off from the memorial wall.
The perpetrators of this heinous crime hardly deserve to be named people. It is obviously not worth appealing to their conscience as well as moral values - such acts bring about in the society nothing but hatred and anger.
Such cases of mockery of the memory of the fallen are the result of outright connivance on the part of the Latvian authorities, who themselves are fighting against the symbols of the memorial heritage, thus breeding a sense of impunity and permissiveness in some circles. Apparently, this is the key to successful building of a "united political nation", in the view of the authors of this idea."

☝️ Рассмотрены вопросы практической реализации достигнутых в Сочи 31 октября 2022 года договорённостей лидеров России, Азербайджана и Армении, а также предыдущих совместных заявлений трёх стран на высшем уровне. Подчёркнута важность продолжения работы в трёхстороннем формате по обеспечению безопасности на азербайджано-армянской границе и восстановлению транспортных связей на Южном Кавказе.
Обсуждены также перспективы дальнейшего развития сотрудничества в энергетической сфере.

🇷🇺🇦🇿 📞 President Vladimir Putin and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a telephone conversation today.
☝️ The two Heads of State discussed issues pertaining to practical implementation of the agreements that the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia reached in Sochi on October 31, 2022, as well as the previous top-level joint statements made by the three countries. They also emphasised the importance of continuing this work in the trilateral format to ensure security along the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and to restore the transport links in the South Caucasus.
The prospects for the further promotion of cooperation in the energy sphere were also discussed.
