According to decision of the Russian COVID-19 Emergency Response Centre dated January 16, 2021, the Russian Government issued a directive № 136-r on January 25, 2021, allowing to restore international air traffic on a reciprocal basis with a number of foreign states, including #India (flights between Moscow and #NewDelhi are expected to be operated twice a week).

In this regard, issuing of visas of all categories (including student visa) to enter #Russia via air checkpoints is resumed for the Indian citizens. Please, note that issuance of e-visa is temporarily suspended until an appropriate directive of the Russian Government.

List of the required documents is posted on the Embassy’s website – http://bit.ly/VisaRussia, & website of the Russian Visa Centers in India – https://russia-visacentre.com/en). We would like to emphasize the need to present a valid medical document confirming negative results of the laboratory PCR test for #COVID19 when boarding the flight to Russia and at the passport control at the Russian boarder.
“Russia and India have been maintaining and building up mutually beneficial strategic partnership. Military and technical cooperation between our countries is expanding every year. It is very important for us to have such a strong and reliable partner on the global stage as India. Rosoboronexport is ready to cooperate with India in all areas. Currently, we are carrying out joint research works in more than 100 promising areas, including aviation, thus laying the groundwork for the future development of high-tech industries in both countries. We are implementing joint projects for all armed services with such a degree of cooperation between enterprises of the two countries, that is unique for the world market,” said Rosoboronexport’s Director General Alexander Mikheev.
