🇷🇺🇮🇳 On September 16, the SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai will host the opening of the Russian Language and Culture Center of the Ogarev Mordovia State University, which will help strengthen educational ties between Russia and India by offering classes in Russian, master classes, lectures on literature, history and art, as well as consulting support.

📚 The key objective of the Center is to prepare Indian students for admission to master's and postgraduate programs at Russian higher education institutions. This will expand their academic prospects, help them integrate into the Russian educational system and participate in international programmes.

⚡️ On the opening day, educational programmes and available learning resources will be presented via videoconference. Students from both countries will demonstrate creative performances.

🟣The SRM Institute is one of the leading private universities in India, where 50,000 people study. The Ogarev Mordovia State University is a major scientific center in Russia, ranked 3rd in the Global Subject Ranking, with 19,000 students, including 1,200 Indian citizens.

🇷🇺 🧑🏻‍🎓 🇮🇳 On September 24, at the Russian House in New Delhi, Minister Counsellor & DCM of the Russian Embassy in India Roman Babushkin took part in a ceremonial farewell to Indian students heading to study at Russian universities under the educational quota of the Russian Government.

💬 Roman Babushkin and Representative of the Rossotrudnichestvo Elena Remizova congratulated future students on successfully passing the selection and addressed them with parting words.
