On September 7, the closing ceremony of the Vostok 2022 Strategic Command Exercise took place at the Sergeevsky training ground in Primorsky Krai.
Colonel General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Russian Deputy Defense Minister, addressed the participants. Representatives of the military departments of the participating states from Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, #India, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia and Tajikistan also spoke to the personnel.
Vostok 2022 strategic command exercise had been conducted from September 1 to 7, 2022, and included trainings dedicated to the offensive and defensive action at seven different training grounds of the Eastern Military Districts - Burduny, Goryachiye Klyuchi, Knyaze-Volkonsky, Lagunnoye, Sergeyevsky, Telemba, Uspenovsky, as well as in the water and coastal areas of the Okhotsk Sea and the Sea of Japan.
A total of over 50,000 servicemen, over 5,000 weapons and units of military equipment, including 140 aircraft, 60 warships, boats and auxiliary vessels, had been involved in the exercise.
