Ожидаем осуждения украинского экстремистского сайта «Миротворец», через который происходит преследование неугодной Киеву прессы, а также карательной юстиции в Прибалтике, где под арестом по политическим мотивам находятся журналисты. Требуем реакции Гендиректора О.Азуле на организованные Киевом убийства российских журналистов Д.Дугиной и В.Татарского.

📅 May 3 is World Press Freedom Day as declared by the UN General Assembly in 1993. Its original intended purpose was to attract attention to ensuring free operation of the media, protecting journalists’ rights, and creating conditions for their safe work.
But we have to state with regret that reasons for satisfaction with this are few and far between. Unfortunately, the real state of affairs in this area testifies to the fact that the world has a long way to go before it attains the ideals of pluralism in differing views and freedom of the media.
⚠️ The US-led collective West continues its uncompromising crusade against dissent in mass media with total disregard of its international commitments to protect their legitimate rights and imposes on the world public a distorted picture of the world based on one-sided and politicised interpretations of current developments. It uses any unseemly method ranging from direct broadcasting bans to ungrounded refusals to issue visas to journalists.
Freedom of access to information has deteriorated especially in the Baltic states, in Moldova, and in Ukraine, whose authorities have started using openly terroristic methods of eliminating dissent.
In their hypocrisy, the Western “advanced democracies” close their eyes to the cruel murders of Russian journalists Darya Dugina, Vladlen Tatarsky, and Oleg Klokov. Their appointees in the executive bodies of international organisations and human rights mechanisms obediently play up to this sordid policy.
A serious destabilising factor is the arbitrary nature of internet monopolies that tend to moderate content on instructions from Washington.
❗️ We must not allow the universally conceived World Press Freedom Day to serve the narratives of a narrow group of countries and to degenerate by degree into sheer profanation. There is a need for an honest review of media freedom and journalist safety, one not distorted by aggressive Western propaganda.

❗️ The Foreign Ministry firmly condemns the attempted terrorist attacks against the Moscow Kremlin on the night of May 2, when it was targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles.
There is no doubt that the Kiev regime is behind these attacks. It has a long-standing record of intentionally supporting and employing terrorist methods against civilian infrastructure and civilians, including the October 8, 2022, explosion on the Crimean Bridge, strikes against non-military targets in the Bryansk, Belgorod and Rostov regions, as well as many acts of sabotage. Now comes Moscow.
This crime is aggravated by the fact that the Moscow Kremlin serves as the residence of the Head of State. What makes the actions of the neo-Nazi Ukrainian authorities especially cynical is that they made an attempt to assassinate the President of Russia ahead of Victory Day and the May 9 Parade. <...>

The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case into actions designed to intimidate and terrorise people, inflict damage and kill people as a means of influencing the decision-making process by government agencies. ❗️ Решительно осуждаем попытки террористических актов, совершённые ночью 3 мая против Московского Кремля с помощью беспилотных летательных аппаратов.
Нет сомнений в том, что за ними стоит киевский режим, который давно и осознанно поддерживает и использует террористические методы против объектов гражданской инфраструктуры и мирного населения. Подрыв Крымского моста 8 октября 2022 года, удары по невоенным объектам в Брянской, Белгородской и Ростовской областях, многочисленные диверсии. Теперь Москва. Террористическая и диверсионная деятельность ВСУ беспрецедентно набирает обороты.
Тяжесть данного преступления усугубляется тем, что Московский Кремль является резиденцией главы российского государства, а особый цинизм действий неонацистской украинской власти состоит в том, что попытка покушения на Президента России была совершена накануне Дня Победы и Парада 9 Мая <...>.
☝️ Подобные преступления не должны оставаться без ответа. В дополнение к оценкам, данным в сообщении пресс-службы Президента России и заявлении МИД России, обращаем внимание, что данный террористический акт был совершен на территории объекта всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО «Московский Кремль и Красная площадь».
📍Расцениваем это преступное деяние как грубое нарушение Украиной взятых на себя международных обязательств, в том числе, в рамках Конвенции об охране всемирного культурного и природного наследия 1972 г. Согласно данному документу «каждое государство-сторона обязуется не предпринимать каких-либо преднамеренных действий, которые могли бы причинить прямо или косвенно ущерб культурному и природному наследию, расположенному на территории других государств-сторон Конвенции». Налицо лицемерие киевской клики. Получая значительные средства из фондов ЮНЕСКО, Киев регулярно и бездоказательно обвиняет Россию в «нанесении ущерба украинскому культурному наследию» и, при этом, не придерживается базовых норм международного права в сфере охраны памятников культуры.

💬 We strongly condemn the attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on the Moscow Kremlin - the residence of the President of the Russian Federation, carried out by the Kiev regime on the night of May, 3. In addition to the assessments given in the message of the Presidential Press Service and the Foreign Ministry statement, we would like to draw attention to the fact that this terrorist act was committed within the boundaries of the UNESCO World Heritage Site " Kremlin and Red Square, Moscow ".
📍We consider this criminal act as a flagrant violation by Ukraine of its international obligations, including those under the 1972 Convention concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage. According to this document, “Each State Party to this Convention undertakes not to take any deliberate measures which might damage directly or indirectly the cultural and natural heritage situated on the territory of other States Parties to this Convention” The hypocrisy of the Kiev clique is evident. Receiving significant funds from UNESCO, Kiev regularly and groundlessly accuses Russia of “damaging the Ukrainian cultural heritage” and, at the same time, does not adhere to the basic norms of international law in the field of protection of cultural monuments.
📍We demand that Director-General of UNESCO A.Azoulay condemns the illegal acts against the World Heritage Site. This is very important in order to force Kiev to fulfill its international obligations, and also to ensure that actions against Russian cultural monuments not go unpunished.

On 2️⃣9️⃣ April the Polish 🇵🇱 authorities seized the school of the Russian Embassy in Warsaw. Now 🇷🇺 school is cordoned, education is suspended.
☝These hostile actions of the Polish authorities constitute a flagrant violation of the Vienna Diplomatic Convention of 1961, as well as a violation of the rights of children to education.
