Surprisingly, the new Battlefield Portal is based on Godot Engine.

They didn't want to expose Frostbite Engine and instead made a modding tool out of Godot: it reads Battlefield maps and models, can modify them, but they still run on Frostbite when editing is finished.

The Portal editor will once again exist outside the Battlefield 6 client itself within a custom version of the Godot game engine. — PC Gamer.

Do you know that there's a free scratch-like plugin for Godot Engine? It's called Block Coding, the results are anyway converted to GDScript and so they are not slower than GDScript on runtime.
