Media is blaming Among Us, since the young killer Luigi Mangione, who took down UnitedHealthcare CEO, was a gamer.

UnitedHealthcare was a notorious AI user and declined payments in almost every case, causing thousands of people's deaths annually.

Who to blame?
— Horrible predatory corporations?
— Nope!
— Collapsing economy with zero chance to buy a house for youth?
— Nah, not that!
— Wars raging around the world and supported by governments?
— Definitely not!
— A videogame about alien invasion on a space station!
— Yeah, this thing!

We live in a clown world!

Google done a study a few years ago and figured out that SAFETY and the ability to express concerns was the most important factor, that separated efficient teams from inefficient ones. What we see now (game industry included) makes work stressful and results weaker.

Your Unreal Engine assets are a time bomb and you don't own them.

Just to clarify: here's how Free FAB asset looks like, after it's no longer free. You can only claim it for your tier (Personal or Pro). The majority of you are at Personal tier and can only claim it, not the higher one.

Then after the item is no longer free and in case you get income OR FUNDING that will exceed your tier to the Pro one, you owe Fab $350 for this asset alone. And potentially thousands upon thousands for all their so-called "Free Assets".

It's a huge time bomb that is currently planted in thousands of indie games and will screw them up in the next couple of years.

In addition: Cyberpunk 2077 update features the new Balatro crossover! Imagine making a solo developed card game and become a GOTY nominate, collaborating with several hit games.

On the side of Balatro, the Cyberpunk related pack was released about a month ago. But they also have several other collabs with a variety of games — The Witcher 3, Dave the Diver, Vampire Survivors, and Among Us.

Jolt Physics has been merged into the Godot Engine core as the alternative to their broken native physics! It will be released in 4.4 stable early next year.

For the last couple of years (in both Godot 3.x and 4.x) the native 3D physics was broken. It was created in three months, replaced their previous 3rd party solution, but was instantly abandoned (the creator left the team). And for over a year Jolt was a plugin to solve this.

Jolt is fast and stable, it's being used in many AAA games, like Horizon Zero Dawn. It's supported by several popular Godot plugins, including Terrain3D.
