🎓Ambassador Anatoly Antonov congratulated schoolchildren, their parents and teachers on the Knowledge Day. The head of the diplomatic mission wished success, diligence and perseverance in achieving their goals.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 1 сентября в Посольстве России в США состоялся праздничный вечер, посвященный творчеству С.В.Рахманинова. Мероприятие приурочено к отмечаемому в этом году 150-летию со дня рождения великого русского композитора.

📌 Концерт в исполнении пианиста-виртуоза С.Косенко посетили представители дипмиссий стран СНГ, Африки, Азии, Ближнего Востока и Латинской Америки, сотрудники росдирекций в бреттон-вудских институтах, российские журналисты и соотечественники.

📌 Мероприятие стало знаковым событием в культурной жизни Вашингтона. Гости делились восторженными впечатлениями от знакомства с композициями С.В.Рахманинова. Многие признавались, что являются горячими поклонниками русской культуры.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 On September 1st, the Embassy of Russia in the USA hosted a gala evening dedicated to the art of Sergei V. Rachmaninoff. The event coincides with the 150th anniversary of the birth of a great Russian composer, which is celebrated this year.

📌 The representatives of diplomatic missions of the CIS countries, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, employees of the Russian directorates in the Bretton Woods institutions, Russian journalists and compatriots attended the concert performed by virtuoso pianist Sergei Kossenko.

📌 The event became a landmark point in the cultural life of Washington. The guests shared their enthusiastic impressions on the compositions of Sergei Rachmaninoff. Many admitted that they are ardent admirers of Russian culture.
