☦️ Сегодня, 28 июля, в нашей стране отмечается День Крещения Руси! В этот день в 988 году князь Владимир Святославович вместе с дружинниками принял крещение в г.Корсунь (Херсонес), центре византийских владений в Крыму.
Принятие Русью христианства – событие колоссального исторического значения.
💬 М.В.Захарова: Крещение Руси, связанное с историческим выбором святого Владимира, имело огромное значение в судьбе Отечества. Христианство утвердилось в качестве государственной, объединяющей религии, а ее византийское начало предопределило будущий путь России в качестве крупнейшего оплота православия, стало источником её самобытности (из брифинга официального представителя МИД России М.В.Захаровой, 26 июля 2023 года).

По итогам 2022 года ваша страна второй год подряд заняла первое место по товарообороту с Россией среди стран Африки южнее Сахары. Он достиг почти полутора миллиарда долларов, это неплохой показатель. Очень хорошая тенденция, которую нужно развивать. И конечно, нужно увеличивать абсолютные цифры.

Признательны за Вашу поддержку в создании на территории Дакарского университета российской медиатеки. Это уникальный пилотный проект, который, думаю, поможет не только изучению русского языка и культуры в Сенегале, но и станет отправной точкой для реализации таких программ в других африканских странах.

Особо следует отметить, что Россия и Сенегал плодотворно сотрудничают и на площадке ООН. Связи между Россией и Камеруном выстраиваются в духе взаимного уважения, партнёрства. В следующем году будем отмечать 60-летие установления дипломатических отношений. Рассчитываем, что наша встреча придаст дополнительный импульс укреплению взаимодействия наших двух стран. Выступаем за активизацию нашего политического диалога и развитие контактов на всех уровнях.

Отмечаем интерес камерунцев к изучению русского языка. В апреле этого года в городе Дуале начал функционировать центр открытого образования на русском языке, который сегодня посещают более 150 школьников и студентов.

✍️ We, the Heads of State and Government of the Russian Federation and African States recognized by the United Nations (UN) (hereinafter also referred to as the Russian Federation and African States), and representatives of the African Union and Africa's leading integration organizations, gathered on 28 July 2023 in Saint Petersburg (Russian Federation) to participate in the Second Russia–Africa Summit,

✍️ On July 28, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chairperson of the Commission of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) Gilberto da Piedade Verissimo signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Russian Federation and the ECCAS on the Foundation for Relations and Cooperation, on the sidelines of the second Russia-Africa Summit in St Petersburg in the presence of President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Chair of the African Union, President of the Union of Comoros Azali Assoumani.
The ECCAS, which includes 11 countries in Central Africa (Angola 🇦🇴, Burundi 🇧🇮, Gabon 🇬🇦, Cameroon 🇨🇲, Congo 🇨🇬, the DRC 🇨🇩, Rwanda 🇷🇼, Sao Tome and Principe 🇸🇹, the CAR 🇨🇫, Chad 🇹🇩, and Equatorial Guinea 🇬🇶) was created in 1983 to develop integration processes between member countries, promote comprehensive deepening of regional cooperation based on their respective economic potential, and move towards the creation of a common market. In addition to the traditional package of integration goals, the ECCAS is also involved in strengthening peace and stability, combating terrorism and piracy, and supporting election processes in the ECCAS space.
This memorandum lays the legal foundation for relations between Russia and this integrational association and is aimed at assisting in further promoting cooperation in the economic, cultural, humanitarian and social spheres.
As part of the implementation of the memorandum, it is planned to hold regular consultations between the parties and develop separate cooperation programmes.

💬 We had a meaningful and interested exchange of views on the entire range of strategic cooperation between Russia and African nations.
In addition, during plenary sessions, numerous bilateral meetings, thematic roundtable discussions and panel sessions, we reviewed in detail current global problems, issues of world economics and politics, food and energy security, stable and sustainable development and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
We determined the main areas of our further joint work and mapped out our plans for enhancing foreign policy coordination, building up trade and investment flows and promoting industrial cooperation between Russia and African countries.
We talked about the training of top professionals for African national economies.
We drafted and approved the main declaration of the second Russia-Africa Summit and a number of thematic declarations:
• on preventing an arms race in space,
• on cooperation in international information security,
• on enhancing cooperation in countering terrorism.
In addition, the plan of action of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum for 2023–2026 is ready for adoption. Colleagues, if nobody objects, let us consider these most important documents adopted. (Applause.) No objections at all? Thank you.
In general, we highly value the results of our joint work at the summit. I am sure the achieved results are creating a good foundation for further deepening the Russia-Africa partnership in the interests of our nations’ prosperity and wellbeing.

• We are planning to build up our trade in quality and quantity and improve its pattern. We are also going to gradually switch to national currencies, including the ruble, in making financial payments on commercial deals.

💬 President Putin: Libya is our long-term partner in North Africa. We have many years of experience of efficient joint work, and I believe we still have immense potential for interaction.
Our trade and economic cooperation is advancing quite well overall. Our mutual trade grew by 67.5 percent last year, which is obviously a good indicator, and nearly doubled again between January and April this year.
Priority sectors include industrial and transport infrastructure as well as the energy sector. Russia and Libya cooperate within various multilateral organisations and formats, including OPEC Plus and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, which promotes stability in global energy markets.
Naturally, the agenda includes achieving a sustainable normalisation in Libya; we are well aware of this. Russia will further promote progress on key tracks of the settlement based on efforts to ensure unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Libyan state.

💬 В.В.Путин: Российско-южноафриканские отношения основываются на принципах стратегического партнёрства, взаимодействие между нашими странами становится всё более насыщенным и всё более разнообразным. Налажен многоуровневый политический диалог, развиваются торгово-экономические связи, сотрудничество.
В 2022 году товарооборот продемонстрировал хороший рост – 16,4%. Мне кажется, абсолютные цифры тоже могли бы быть и больше, но уже 1,3 миллиарда долларов – в принципе, показатель уже достойный.
Работает межправкомиссия. Перспективные сферы сотрудничества – мы с Вами их неоднократно отмечали – это энергетика, промышленность, аграрный сектор, наука, конечно, и инновации.
Большое внимание уделяем расширению связей в области образования. На 2023/24 учебный год квота стипендий для обучения южноафриканских студентов в российских вузах увеличена почти втрое – на 400 мест.
Наши страны координируют свои действия в ООН, в «Группе двадцати» и других многоформатных организациях. В этом году ЮАР является председателем в БРИКС, как известно. Мы тесно и конструктивно взаимодействуем в рамках этого объединения, в интересах углубления стратегического партнёрства всей пятёрки.

💬 В.В.Путин: Российско-буркинийские связи носят традиционно дружественный характер. В прошлом году мы отметили 55-летие установления дипломатических отношений. Знаем, что в вашей стране относятся к России с симпатией, интересом – я, уважаемый господин Президент, увидел это и услышал вчера от Вас в Вашем коротком выступлении.
Со своей стороны также придаём большое значение развитию отношений с Буркина-Фасо. Нами, в частности, принято решение о возобновлении деятельности российского посольства, закрытого ещё в 1992 году. Уверен, что работа российского посольства придаст дополнительный импульс развитию наших отношений.
Политический диалог носит регулярный характер. В декабре 2022 года в России с рабочей поездкой побывал Премьер-министр вашего переходного правительства. В июне прошли переговоры по линии наших министерств обороны. Расширяются межпарламентские связи, что тоже важно, на мой взгляд.

Будем и впредь содействовать вашей стране в подготовке национальных кадров в России по гражданским специальностям. В 2023/24 учебном году для Буркина-Фасо выделены 10 государственных стипендий. В случае заинтересованности рассмотрим возможность увеличения этой квоты.
Между нашими странами налажена координация по актуальным вопросам международной повестки дня. Отмечаем хороший уровень взаимодействия в ООН и других международных организациях.

☦️ О заседании Совета Безопасности ООН по преследованию Украинской православной церкви
26 июля по инициативе России состоялось заседание Совета Безопасности ООН по тематике преследования Украинской православной церкви (УПЦ).
Встреча была посвящена получающим всё больший размах преследованиям священнослужителей и прихожан УПЦ, которым киевский режим незаконно приписывает преступления против государственной и общественной безопасности.

Внимание членов СБ ООН было привлечено к отдельным особо вопиющим примерам религиозных гонений на Украине, включая арест наместника Киево-Печерской лавры митрополита Павла, который отказался «присягнуть» Киеву и раскольнической «Православной церкви Украины».
Подчёркнут вызывающе противоправный характер законопроекта Верховной Рады Украины, по сути, предусматривающего запрет деятельности УПЦ и изъятие у неё храмов. Этот документ грубейшим образом противоречит, как минимум, десяти статьям Конституции Украины, регулирующим свободу слова и гражданские свободы.
❗️ В рамках мероприятия был представлен доклад МИД России «О противоправных действиях киевского режима в отношении УПЦ, её священнослужителей и прихожан».

👉 Россия продолжит привлекать внимание международного сообщества, в том числе на площадке СБ ООН, к вопиющей ситуации с притеснением православных верующих на Украине.

30 июля 2023 года в Вооруженных Силах Российской Федерации отмечается День Военно-Морского Флота. Мы по праву гордимся героизмом наших моряков, талантом флотоводцев и мастеров-корабелов, которые принесли России славу великой морской державы.
Сегодня Военно-Морской Флот играет ключевую роль в обеспечении суверенитета и свободы нашей Родины, является важной составляющей национальной обороны. Его личный состав обладает современными знаниями и навыками управления сложной морской техникой, достойно несет вахту, успешно выполняет стоящие перед ним задачи.
Уважаемые товарищи!
Поздравляю всех с праздником! Уверен, что вы и в дальнейшем будете приумножать славные традиции легендарных предшественников, совершенствовать профессиональные навыки, способствовать укреплению обороноспособности и безопасности государства.
Хочу также выразить большую признательность ветеранам Военно-Морского Флота, чья доблестная и самоотверженная служба является примером для молодого поколения защитников Отечества.
Желаю всем крепкого здоровья, счастья, стойкости духа, новых успехов и достижений в службе на благо России!
