🎙 Meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council was held Astana on October 14, 2022.
The discussion focused on key aspects of interaction within the CIS, ways to improve the organisation’s efficiency and the performance of its executive and industry-related bodies. A package of documents was adopted (18 in total).
💬 President Vladimir Putin: The CIS has come a long way over the past three decades. The group has established itself as a respected regional integration association.
I would also like to note that despite the sanctions pressure, something we are all well aware of, our economic exchanges with the CIS countries are consistently expanding. Last year, Russia's trade with the CIS countries increased by more than 30 percent, and in the first half of 2022, by another 7 percent, to US$46 billion.
❗️ Russia’s efforts to reorient exports and imports open up serious prospects. This facilitates the development of transport corridors in the entire Greater Eurasia region.

▪️ Ежедневно в лагерь поступало до шести эшелонов, по 2000 человек в каждом – взрослые, старики, дети. Большинство прибывших уничтожали в день приезда. Газовая камера, прозванная среди узников "баней", вмещала в себя до 800 человек и уничтожала загнанных в нее людей за 15 минут.
▪️ Красноармеец Александр Печерский вместе с сыном польского раввина Леоном Фельдхендлером смогли подготовить и возглавить восстание в лагере. Узники смогли смять буквально голыми руками охрану, в нескольких местах прорвать ограждение с колючей проволокой и бежать через минное поле. Часть из них была поймана, но выжившие смогли рассказать свою историю миру.

It was the only successful mass escape from a Nazi concentration camp.

▪️ Every day, up to six echelons arrived at the camp, 2000 people in each - adults, old people, children. Most arrived were killed on the day of arrival. The gas chamber, nicknamed the "bath" among the prisoners, could accommodate up to 800 people.
▪️ Red Army officer Alexander Pechersky, together with the son of a Polish rabbi, Leon Feldhendler, managed to prepare and lead an uprising in the camp. The prisoners managed to kill the guards literally with bare hands. In some places barbed wire fence were broken, so people were able to escaped through the minefield. Some of them were caught, but the survivors found their history of the world.

📊 As of October 14, 2022, 334 vessels delivered 7,448,204 metric tons of grain and other foodstuffs from Ukraine.
🔸 52,5% went to rich countries with developed economies.
🔸 22% went to developing countries with “above average” economies.
🇺🇳 2,5% was bought out by the UN World Food Programme for its for its operations in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Yemen, Somalia and Ethiopia.
❗️ Only 23% went directly to the countries with struggling economies, the actual “countries-in-need”.
🌾 Even though the Black Sea Grain Initiative undoubtedly contributes to addressing the global food crisis, it is far from being the “key” to “saving the poor countries from starvation”. Don’t let the Western propaganda fool you.

❗️ Киевский режим не прекращает провокации с целью создания угрозы техногенной катастрофы на Запорожской атомной электростанции.
Сегодня около 4 утра противник силами до двух рот предпринял очередную попытку высадки десанта на левый берег Каховского водохранилища и захвата территории атомной станции.
В течение суток артиллерией ВСУ было выпущено 13 снарядов по северной окраине города Энергодар и территории, прилегающей к атомной станции. Удары наносились из района населенного пункта Марганец Днепропетровской области, подконтрольного ВСУ. Ответным огнем российских артиллерийских подразделений огневые средства противника подавлены.
⚠️ Жертв и разрушений на станции нет. Радиационная обстановка в норме.

⚡️ Russian Defence Ministry:
❗️ The Kiev regime continues its provocations aimed at creating a possible technological disaster at Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.
Today, around 4.00 am, the enemy, with forces of up to two companies, made another attempt to land troops on the left bank of the Kakhovka Reservoir and seize the territory of the nuclear power plant. For the landing, the enemy involved 37 motor boats and cutters (12 heavy and 25 light types) with AFU servicemen.
The Russian troops took active actions when guarding the outer perimeter of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant to neutralise the enemy’s landing troops.
In addition, in 24 hours, the AFU artillery fired 13 shells at the northern outskirts of Energodar and the territory adjacent to the nuclear power plant.
⚠️ There are no casualties and destruction at the station. The radiation environment remains normal.

💬 We have to conclude that the questions as to the military biological activities conducted by the United States in the context of the functioning of biological laboratories on the Ukrainian territory still remain unresolved. We have not received exhaustive explanations that could completely allay the doubts concerning the said activities and thus straighten out the situation that had prompted the Russian side to convene the Consultative meeting under BTWC Article V. This is regrettable.
☝️ The consultative meeting has confirmed the need to resume the negotiations on a legally binding protocol to the Convention, which should have a comprehensive nature and offer an effective verification mechanism.

Из-за паутины хаотичных ограничений страдают, прежде всего, нуждающиеся страны Африки, Латинской Америки, Азии и Ближнего Востока. При этом из Вашингтона льется обильный поток слов о необходимости проявить заботу о благополучии этих государств.
Если США и другие страны Запада действительно заинтересованы в решении продовольственных проблем, то пора переходить от риторики к делу. Россия остается надежным поставщиком продуктов питания и удобрений, готова к конструктивному и равноправному взаимодействию в агросфере.

We are compelled to emphasize once again: the sanctions that impede Russian agricultural exports have not gone away.
The African, Latin American, Asian and Middle Eastern countries, that are in critical need of these supplies, mainly suffer from the web of chaotic restrictions. At the same time, an abundant stream of words pours from Washington on the necessity to show concern for the well-being of those states.
If the U.S. and other Western countries are indeed interested in solving the food problems, it is time to move from rhetoric to action. Russia remains a reliable supplier of food and fertilizers and is ready for a constructive and equal interaction in the agricultural sector.

👉 Давайте вспомним слова выдающегося советского посла в США А.Ф.Добрынина: «Карибский кризис убедительно показал опасность прямого военного столкновения двух великих держав, которая была предотвращена – на грани войны – лишь быстрым и мучительным осознанием обеими сторонами катастрофических последствий такого столкновения».
Результатом Карибского кризиса стало восстановление status quo, который существовал вокруг Кубы до размещения там советских ракет. Урегулирование нынешней ситуации на схожей основе невозможно.
☝️ Верю, что мы не подошли, несмотря на все сложности, к опасному порогу срыва в пропасть ядерного конфликта. Повторения взрывоопасной ситуации 60-х годов прошлого столетия допускать нельзя.

🌍 Russia's Ambassador to the USA Anatoly Antonov exclusively for #Newsweek
The Kremlin's decision came after months of failed talks in which Moscow had demanded that Washington and its allies withdraw military infrastructure from former Soviet states now members of the NATO alliance.
Russia was "struggling not against Ukraine but on its territory — for equal relations, a world order based on international law, the UN Charter and practical implementation of the principle of indivisible security for all."
It was the U.S. that had disrupted the nuclear order, not just in expanding the NATO alliance, but also in allegedly halting communications related to the last remaining nuclear arms control treaty between Moscow and Washington.
The recent delusional rhetoric about the possibility of a 'decapitation strike' against the Russian political-military leadership defies any sensible explanation.

It was the U.S. that had disrupted the nuclear order, not just in expanding the NATO alliance, but also in allegedly halting communications related to the last remaining nuclear arms control treaty between Moscow and Washington.
The recent delusional rhetoric about the possibility of a 'decapitation strike' against the Russian political-military leadership defies any sensible explanation.
