🇷🇺🇬🇼 23 сентября в Нью-Йорке «на полях» 77-й Сессии ГА ООН состоялась встреча С.В.Лаврова с Президентом Республики Гвинея-Бисау У.Сиссоку Эмбало.

В ходе беседы были затронуты актуальные вопросы российско-бисайского взаимодействия и перспективы его развития, подтверждено обоюдное стремление сторон повышать уровень политического диалога, расширять торгово-экономические и инвестиционные связи.

Стороны акцентировали внимание на ключевой роли ООН в разрешении кризисных ситуаций в мире, необходимости соблюдения всеми государствами общепринятых правовых норм, регулирующих взаимоотношения в мировой политике.

⚡️ 23 сентября 2022 года Дипломатическая академия МИД России и Российский фонд мира провели международную научно-практическую конференцию «К 60-летию Карибского кризиса».

Российские и иностранные дипломаты, ведущие учёные и эксперты поделились оценками современного этапа 🇷🇺🇺🇸 российско-американских отношений в контексте исторического опыта и уроков Карибского кризиса, 60-летие которого отмечается в эти дни.

Конференция прошла под председательством члена Коллегии, ректора Дипломатической академии МИД России А.В.Яковенко. На открытии мероприятия с видеообращением к участникам выступили замминистра иностранных дел России С.А.Рябков, Посол России в США А.И. Антонов. Заместитель Секретаря Совета Безопасности А.Н.Венедиктов и Посол Республики Куба в России Х. Пенья оценили роль России в формировании многополярного мирового порядка.

🇷🇺🇸🇩 On September 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chairman of the Supreme (Sovereignty) Council of Sudan Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan held a meeting on the sidelines of the #UNGA77.

The discussion focused on various aspects of the further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Sudanese relations. The parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in expanding business cooperation between the two countries, including in the context of implementing agreements reached at the regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation held in Moscow in August 2022.

The officials stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral coordination on current regional issues between Moscow and Khartoum at the UN and other international venues.

🇷🇺🇭🇺 On September 22, 2022, FM Sergey Lavrov had a meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Ministers discussed promising areas of #RussiaHungary trade and economic cooperation and practical aspects of boosting energy interaction in the current unfavourable international situation.

🔹 The Ministers exchanged views on major global and regional issues on the United Nations agenda in the political, security, economic, financial and sustainable development spheres, as well as on intra-BRICS activities.

🔹 They expressed support for continued cooperation of BRICS members in areas of mutual interest, including through regular exchanges amongst their Permanent Missions to the UN.

🔹 The Ministers acknowledged the annual UNGA resolution on “Combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fueling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance”.

🇷🇺🇯🇴 On September 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Safadi on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues on the #MiddleEast agenda with an emphasis on problems related to the Palestinian-Israeli and Syrian settlement processes, as well as developments in Iraq. The parties stressed their intention to continue to coordinate approaches to resolving conflicts and crises that have a negative impact on regional and global stability and security in accordance with the basic norms of international law.

🤝 In addition to this, core issues related to supporting the further development of comprehensive Russian-Jordanian cooperation were discussed, including maintaining a regular political dialogue at the high and the highest level.
