Estimated income from Spot trading of the three top exchanges amounted to around $50M on each, which is on average 30% more than income from futures trading. At the same time, futures trading volumes significantly exceed the spot.
The exception was the FTX exchange, which is traditionally a derivative exchange. FTX derivatives trading income is ten times higher than the spot.
