The ANC's support has reached its lowest point since their first election in 1994. DA, the main opposition, has lost a large number of votes to the more conservative FF+. The EFF made massive gains this election: from a 6.35% in 2014 to a 10.79% today.

It is important to note that although the ANC has dropped well below a safe two-thirds majority, the possible combination of the ANC and the EFF puts them at a 68.29% share of the vote. Even though on paper it seems that these parties don't like each other, it is safe to say based off previous parliamentary decisions that they would band together under common interests.
