At the press center of the Rossiya Segodnya news agency, leading Russian experts took part in the EISI round table on the topic “Patriotism as a national idea of ​​Russia.”

— The level of patriotism in Russian society has increased significantly: from 80% in 2016 to 94% today. 69% of Russians provided at least one form of support to residents of new regions and participants of the Special Military Operation. 82% of respondents are ready to provide such assistance.

🇷🇺 Under the conditions of the Special Military Operation, the whole Russian society was consolidated. According to VTsIOM, 58% of Russians believe Special Military Operation has united the country.

✴️ As Alexander Dugin noted, now not being a patriot is actually signing a betrayal of the homeland, as:

— Patriotism moves from emotional and spontaneous to scientific and systemic.

— Russia offers the world its view of foreign policy - this is the protection of traditional values, the sovereignty of every people and the right of countries to determine their own future.

— Modern Russian patriotism is a consolidating platform that unites the civil majority. This is a key element of the value core, the value dominant of Russian society.
