#Grenada: MP Emmalin Pierre is elected the first female New National Party (centre-right) leader, replacing Opposition Leader Keith Mitchell, who has led NNP since 1989 to multiple wins, including three clean sweeps. Rival Peter David withdrew, citing an "unfair" process.

#Bolivia: The Tarija prosecutor's office has charged former President Evo Morales (MAS, left) with human trafficking and issued an arrest warrant for him.
