⚠️ We continue to record the facts of criminal acts by Ukrainian authorities against the civilian population of Ukraine and the people's republics of Donbas.

🔹 It has been reliably elicited that the Kiev regime has prepared and is attempting to carry out yet another provocation to accuse Russian Armed Forces of destroying important elements of vital infrastructure in Ukraine and creating an energy and humanitarian crisis in the country.

🔹 In order to implement it, Ukrainian command has deliberately deployed its armed groups at Krivoy Rog therman station (Zelenodolsk, Dnepropetrovsk reg.), from where artillery and multiple rocket-launching system (MRLS) units have been redeploying to firing positions, periodically shelling the northern districts of Kherson region and shelter in the thermal station provoking Russian troops to launch a counter attack every day (since June 24, 2022).

🔹 These acts committed by Ukrainian authorities show the readiness of the Kiev regime to sacrifice the welfare of their citizens for another high-profile provocation. It is possible that after having failed to provoke Russian Armed Forces to strike the Krivoy Rog thermal station, Ukrainian nationalists may explode elements of the power plant themselves and present fake evidence of a strike by Russian troops to the world community with.

❗️ In case of implementation of this cynical plan and destruction of the facilities, the population of most central regions of Ukraine and hundreds of life-supporting facilities will be left without electricity. We urge the administration and maintenance staff of Krivoy Rog thermal station, as well as residents of Dnepropetrovsk region, to make every effort for preventing this provocation. By publicly protesting against the use of energy facilities by armed groups and ensuring their withdrawal from the power plant, you will keep light and heat in your houses, protect yourself and your loved ones, as well as protect Ukrainian people from the arbitrary rule of the Kiev regime.

❗️ We warn the so-called civilised West in advance that the above mentioned and other provocations by the Ukrainian authorities about the allegedly 'atrocities of the Russians' are soon to be widely circulated through the Western media.

🔹 in Kharkov, at the bakery plant №11 (Gvardeytsev-Shironinysev st.), nationalists have deployed long-range artillery and MRLS, while residents of local buildings have been deliberately left without evacuation.

🔹 These facts show again the indifference of Ukrainian authorities to the lives of civilian population.

🔹 It occurs with the tacit consent of the western countries that continue turning a blind eye to the numerous war crimes of the Kiev regime.

🔹 in Zaporozhye, in the Children's Art Palace (Zaporozhskaya sq.), nationalists have deployed a strongpoint, an armament and munitions depot, as well as firing and sniper positions along the perimeter of the institution and at the upper floors of nearest residential buildings;

🔹 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk People's Republic, in the residence of technological vocational school (Uralskaya st.) and in the gymnasium №1 (Arkhangelskaya st.), militants of Ukrainian nationalist groups have deployed barracks, as well as armoured equipment and large-calibre artillery at Yubileyny park;

🔹 in Bakhmut, Donetsk People's Republic, in the industrial vocational college (Chaykovskogo st.), AFU units have deployed provisional bases, as well as armoured equipment, mortar positions and heavy artillery at the adjacent territory. Militants restrict local residents to leave their houses, all their attempts to evacuate to safe areas are severely suppressed.

❗️ These facts show the inhumane treatment of the Ukrainian authorities to the civilian population and their total disregard to the international humanitarian law. Despite the repeated statements by the Joint Coordination Headquarters of the Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response, this kind of cynical acts committed by the Kiev regime have been ignored by the international society until now.

🔻The lack of therapeutic effect of antibacterial medication has been reported during in-patient treatment of AFU servicemen in medical facilities. This fact may indicate preventive use of antibiotics and preparation of personnel for operating in conditions of biological contamination.

Thai Festival in Moscow to be held on August 5-7, 2022. The event is organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Government of Moscow. ☝️ Noting that the Treaty on the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (SEANWFZ Treaty) entered into force on 27 March 1997 and 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty;

☝️ Noting that the current security context requires more efforts to strengthen the indispensable role of the IAEA in nuclear non-proliferation verification through safeguards implementation and efforts to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of safeguards regime including through universalization of the Additional Protocol;

☝️ Recalling the UN Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 1540 (2004) and the Comprehensive Reviews on the status of its implementation, whose aim is to prevent non-state actors from getting access to nuclear, chemical or biological weapons, their means of delivery and related materials;

HEREBY DECIDES TO:

💬 FM Sergey Lavrov: On August 6, 1945, the United States launched a nuclear attack against Hiroshima and three days later against Nagasaki.

To this day, the terrible death of innocent civilians strikes a chord with millions of people on our planet. It is hard to fully understand what the masterminds and perpetrators of such an inhumane act were guided by.

The Soviet offensive in the Far East, as part of the agreements between the Allies, not only liberated China and Korea, but also took away Japan’s motivation to continue military operations. In that situation, atomic bombings by the United States were in fact a show of force and an operational test of nuclear weapons on civilians.

🇺🇸 United States was the first and only country to use this type of weapons of mass destruction.

🇷🇺🇹🇭 On August 5, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Don Pramudwinai on the sidelines of the ASEAN ministerial events in Phnom Penh.

🤝 The two Ministers discussed the state and future of bilateral cooperation, including the political dialogue, trade, economic ties and humanitarian and cultural exchanges. They paid special attention to holding cultural events in both countries to mark the 125th anniversary of Russia-Thailand diplomatic relations in 2022.

The foreign ministers reaffirmed their commitment to stepping up cooperation within international and regional platforms, including within multilateral associations in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as their commitment to adding more substance to the Russia-ASEAN strategic partnership.
